It could be stretched to a queen if you add a border in different fabric. The pattern is for cross-stitch. Embroidery thread is not included in the kits and will need to be purchased separately. Each block is 16 x 16 inches. The pattern is a lovely Southern Belle with hat and parasol at the gate of her home. There is also a design for the corners.
