Beautiful vintage 37 piece, creamer plus six person Shakespeare's Sonnets Anne Hathaways Cottage dish set manufactured by Kensington in England circa the 1960’s. The edges feature a lovely scalloped and ribbed design in white, with a gorgeous transferware border. The front of the dishes feature various transferware image scenes of William Shakespeare's wife Anne Hathaway's cottage displaying trees, with colours of green, yellow, red, and blue throughout. All dishes are marked ‘Shakespeare's Sonnets - Anne Hathaways Cottage - A Genuine Hand Engraving Decorated Underglaze Ironstone - Made in England - Kensington - R2815’.
