4 Antique Wine Glasses By King & Son Glass

A set of 4 antique wine goblets made in the US by the King & Son Glass Company between 1870 and 1920; they started to make this pattern in 1870 (N.B. when they joined the US Glass Company in 1891 they kept making this pattern until the 1920s). They are a great example of early American pressed glass and the pattern is called Fine Cut and Block. There are no cracks or chips but one glass has a manufacturing defect in that its base is not quite round; see the last picture. The glasses are just under 6" tall with 3 1/2" mouths.
