Stunning 4 piece Royal Doulton plates in the discontinued cobalt blue “Ascot” pattern produced between 1939 to 1960; this set consists of two desert salad lunch plates and two dinner plates. All dishes feature a beautiful intricate gold detailed band, scalloped edges along with a gold trim. Marked “Royal Doulton - Made in England - Bone China - Ascot”. Both salad plates display the same floral graphic featuring a large yellow daffodil along with various purple, blue, pink, purple, red florals and greenery. Each dinner plate displays a different floral graphic; one with a large white flower, and one with a large orangey red flower. All pieces feature “P. Cutnock” (the artists name) within the bouquets.
