Here are some examples of date codes/ serial numbers, I picked random bags here. AFTER you get it, you NEED have it checked with PF or another authority. If someone doesn't give you a code, especially on a newer couture bag, DON'T buy it. You still need to check ALL the other things I told you! This is just a good starting point, remember everything else needs to match. So get good pics & have it authenticated. After you get the bag, CHECK that it matches!!

enigma @vtv Now, make sure you have all the pictures, exterior, interior, hardware, zippers, back of zippers, buttons, dust bag, etc. go to the site I told you and submit all pics and the code following the guidelines they ask. They will want a picture of the code, from the bag, like the examples I showed you on this listing. Get a pic of the front and back, make sure you can read all the code clearly, no flash on pic, if the bag is shiny! There are more things, but start here, and follow any instructions your authenticator asks! Hope this helps!

justinas_closet Totally agree. I have my posting with over 100 comments. I think this is great. People need to know they are buying fake or authentic. It's so wrong and so unbelievable that ppl will pay so much money for a fake.

enigma @rmhernandez76 :) I was nervous about posting actual codes, so I tried to pick different, not often replicated bags, and just post a little pic with code. It's hard for newer collectors out there, there are a lot of things to check! :)

Go to purse forum, register and join, go to the designer brand you need to authenticate, go to authenticate this, make sure you have clear pics, front, back, hardware, code, etc. submit following forum rules. After you are registered it will go faster..if you have a SA at NM or Saks, (gucci dept, chanel dept., etc.) they will also sometimes look it for you, as a favor.
