The founder of Blue Mountain, Jozo Weider started Blue Mountain Pottery with a partner who noticed the remarkable local red clay. The unique pottery was known for its trademark "reflowing" or drip glaze technique featuring one light and one dark colour in a flowing design. The rare satin mocha glaze is highly sought after by collectors, as is cobalt blue, slate, harvest gold.
