recyclerestyle Did you take this to a LV boutique to have it authenticated? Also, what is the date code? It is located on the right side, all the way to the back against the back piece. There are no Murakami vintage pieces right now, the line isn't that old. I have many LV wallets I'd be willing to trade if the price is right. I found this exact style wallet for $299, but it was limited edition Cherry Blossom and in great condition with original tags and everything.

recyclerestyle Oh and the older they are, the price does not get higher. For limited edition pieces, this can be true. I have a Watercolor Speedy 30 that I purchased for $1,800 in '08 and I could sell it for the same price today. The only reason is because it was featured for only 3 months and will never be seen again. Your piece I believe is from '03-'05 and was discontinued because it was not a popular style. The discontinued styles that hold their value are ones that they replaced with a new color or fabrication but the style still exists. Sorry for all the info, I just see so many people mis-informed on here. I thought you'd like to know! :)

On one side of mine, the stitching is coming out and I was wondering if you've had a similar problem or not? I took it to LV and they quoted me $525 to have the handle replaced :(

recyclerestyle Haha yeah I've only used mine when I know I'll have a place to set it down! When I first got it, I weighed it down and hung it on a door handle to shape it but it still hurts when I use it lol! Fashion is pain! When I have it on my shoulder, I hold the end of the handle (it helps with the weight). I think that's why the stitching is coming out. I think I may just take it to my local shoe repair place because its jut the stitching. But if anything happens to the leather, LV will be the first place to get it!
