mmayberry @rperk it's a little above fair market value for this type of trunk. I inflated the price to compensate for poshmark a 20% take. I'm selling it in person/on eBay for about $30-40k.

enigma You need a killer cabinetry artiste, who also can work with leather and has antique knowledge. Trunk should stand on end and stay hinged..have wine rack built into bottom half of one side..have bottle display put in other side. Have wine glass racks put in top of side with wine racks..put in corresponding shelvings, mirror back, etc...😘

missrochelles Very beautiful!! LV stores often will buy back merchandise like this to display as history in their store. The store in Roseville, CA is displaying old pieces in their museum in the store. Maybe they would know if another store could buy it from you to display? Just an idea ;)

jpc1219 Beautiful!😍@enigma, her idea of making this into a bar is a great idea! I have a friend who did something similar (not with a LV but a steamer trunk nonetheless) she also resold after completion and tripled her money. If you end up not selling it as is, changing the functionality of it WILL make it more marketable. Good luck! It's a wonderful piece!
