Receiving purchases in the mail can be like Christmas!! Too many times I've received items that are just placed in a box with no protection whatsoever. I recommend wrapping the item in tissue. If there is a dust bag, place the tissue wrapped item in the dust bag. Since I've received waterlogged items in the past, I also pack items in a plastic bag. Thin protective foam or bubble wrap will help get the item safely to your customer! Securely tape the label and box. Off it goes to a happy customer!

gordomom @cvz15 I think you got the answer already, but I think she's right that it's a marmalade set. I think it's a different year than the rings I have posted because the crystal sizes are slightly different. The 2012 holiday style has small, uniformly spaced crystals. I personally like the one you purchased better. :)

I can't tell you how many times I've received items that were just tossed into a box with no padding or protection at all. It's so disappointing bc I tend to purchase things I've really wanted that are often uncommon & hard to find, so I tend not to want to return them. 😔 I appreciate all your shares too!! svalentine I just recommend only using white tissue paper as colored can get wet and stain clothing or other items! Hahaha guess what? After you shared some of my stuff, this lady commented saying "ugly" on one of the tops. So random! Ok so if you think it's ugly then don't buy it and don't comment! And compared to some stuff I've seen of here, this top is far from being ugly. I told her I respect people's opinions as should she and while the top isn't my style, it may be someone else's. (rolls eyes)

Sounds like your response was good & also respectful, so kudos to you!! Thanks for the tip on the colored tissue paper. I've been using colors because it looks cute & pretty, but you're right - I may not want to use colors with items that could get damaged/stained. 😢 💐💐💐

svalentine @gordomom Yeah I respect people's opinions because we all have our own! That's why there's soo many designers and stores!! It was just out of the blue but I think she follows me...I know I can block her or report her but I will only do so if she keeps it up. Posh is basically a business and there's gonna be haters and unhappy people but to just be hateful for no reason is wrong! As for the tissue paper, please don't stop! I don't think it's too much of a concern depending on the type of package you send it out in or if its a dark color. I wanted to use color because like you said it's super cute and pretty but my dad brought that to my attention. I'd keep using it but avoid it in certain situations! It's definitely a nice touch! 😊🌸🌺

We can't make everyone happy, even if we try. :) As for the tissue paper, I will definitely keep using the colored paper at least when I box up jewelry (outside the box as padding). Maybe after rainy season for other items as well. So glad you brought that up though!! Thank you!!

andine This is spot on! Michele, you do not need to respond but I just want to leave a comment that in addition to potential damage during shipping people have been known to get a case of curiosity on the shipping line. I've had many packages opened during transit this year - some curious person rips the package or peels it back just enough... Really not cool! So when we tape packages it's good to tape well. My 2 cents 😜

rbtanger @gordomom I heart this sooo much. I've had debates with myself about how many stars to leave people when things arrive wrapped so poorly. (And I had a pair of shoes arrive with chunky food stuck all over in the treads!) I'm stumped because technically wrapping style is not in Posh rules. Meh. I haven't been doing this long, any advice?

gordomom @rbtanger I agree - that's a tough one! I definitely leave feedback when it's not well-packaged. It's in the best interest of the seller to make sure that the item arrives in the same condition that was advertised. They're not in control over what happens on the way, so protecting the shipment is another means of insurance. I can understand that can be tricky to leave that feedback though. 🌻
