Ha! My friend gave me a mug that says crazy cat lady! We have a black & white one we found outside, then we have a calico I just brought home from the Humane Society at 7 wks old. But we also have 2 dogs & a crippled bird! It's a farm around here! 😜

@pattyjune8 : He's tested that for sure! lol! He's had to have surgery twice for obstructions...he liked to eat dryer sheets, once I realized and made sure he couldn't get at them anymore...he moved on to something else! He nearly suffocated on a styrofoam peanut! He really IS crazy!! 😼

The first time was because he got into planting soil lol than that's when we realized he likes it. So once a month we just do it for fun haha plus his coat gets extra shiny :)

@vacat : Funny story about his name...my daughter teaches Special Education & he was part of a newborn litter that was dumped on her road! She found them all good homes & kept his two sisters. She knew I wanted bff for Ebony, so she was telling me about him all the time she was raising them until he was old enough to come to me...She called him Special Ed! Lol!! But after 2 hours acting like a Lunatic at my house...I told her I thought his name was Ozzie! She said "like Ozzy Osborne??" I smiled & said exactly!! 😜👍

@vacat : Thank you, I'm very proud of her! She was always rescuing something as a child & is the same way now. I think she works full time to pay for her students needs, daycare & the vet bills! lol She rescued many animals while she was living there. And all her barn cats were neutered & vaccinated. 👍💕

Awesome about the passing part!! Woohoo! I was on unemployment for a year and a half when my son was a baby! I got to be a stay at home mom which was nice since I was a single mother. Financially things were alright because I got a roommate. I just had to give up my sons nursery

@linmp1031 I adore cats. Felines are our spirit guides. I have lived with cats since I was nine years old. My current dog, a Bug, part pug, part Boston terrier was raised with a wonderful Siamese and a white fat cat. All my animals have been rescues. My dog does not allow another animal near me. I have not had a cat since I lost my last two to old age.

All animals-including humans can have pica. It's where species have the urge to consume food(s) that are not a normal part of their diet. i.e. some humans have the urge to consume dirt or chalk etc. I think I've heard that sometimes there may be a nutrient deficiency going on.

@mymissycat : I've joked about that, he's had to have obstruction surgery for eating lavender scented dryer sheets!!😖I keep them in a plastic tub with a locking lid & take the laundry out of the dryer carefully, grabbing the sheet before he can! He's turned his attention to paper towels & tissues now that he can't get dryer sheets!👎
