chickykat @deniserm hey Denise...I don't plan to move, just ran into some tax issues on my house. As far as the jeans go, it's hard to say what waist size a 2 is. If you would take your best fitting pair of jeans and lay them down and measure the waist band from left to right(not all the way around). It should be around 14" or so...then let me know. I will then measure my smallest pairs and see for you. Thanks!

And funny...so here's the funny backstory about these journey themed items: my hubby (well not yet back then) gave me a journey necklace for our first Christmas together. Instead of calling it past, present, future, we decided to call it discovery, revelation, and sanctuary. And just over a year later in our wedding, the officiant totally messed that part up...and she said "Discovery, Revolution, and Sanctuary." I burst out laughing right there...yep...because she was actually right. It's been a long and interesting decade...at least the sanctuary part didn't get messed up...at least in the ceremony...💑🙈🙉🙊

chickykat @jennerator26 oh good LORD!! At least you kept your wits about you and laughed--most brides would have been pissed and cried!! Tee!! Well this is a gorgeous set! It's a shame that it was never used. My boyfriend(at the time) and I were shopping and I saw it on sale at Macy's and I told him what they meant. He bought them for me but he isn't very good at settling for less expensive items and for some reason was embarrassed by them. Well because I was saving them for a special occasion he thought maybe I was embarrassed that they weren't real diamonds(because in his mind IT BOTHERED HIM) and that was why I didn't have them on yet. I was only going to work and I didn't think dental assistants needed dangling necklaces or earrings! I would have worn them that weekend!!! Anyway by the end of that week I had a special pkg delivered to work. It was diamond solitaires and the PPF necklace from Zales. Lol. Needless to say I worse THOSE HOME FROM WORK--and nearly every day following until we broke up. :( (I do still wear a pair of earrings from him day tho!!)

jennerator26 @chickykat That's hilarious...especially about the Dangly Dentals...my hubby is too darned cheap (hope he doesn't see this!) to buy...well anything these days. Although he did get nice (real) earrings that kind of matched...a few years later...he has all but forgotten the whole anniversary thing. So now for most special occasions, I just pick out what I'd like and wrap it up for him to give to me. Then I save it until I know for sure he hasn't done anything (occasionally he comes through...at least with a card). I've sort of had a reality check with Sarah's survival, so I'm thankful that he loves her and helps take care of her...that's the Best Gift Ever! He wasn't exactly "on board" with her existence...now they're inseparable. He will be very pleased that these aren't "real" and that I traded for them...on his behalf, of course. 😍😄😘

chickykat @jennerator26 Awww!!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry?!! Cuz every girl wants to feel special on special days, and I don't mean by how much they spend. But to not be forgotten goes a long way!! To be tight on money-- a flower, picked from the neighbor's yard, goes a long way!! Yes, I bet he was very scared to be facing an unknown prognosis. Mean don't really know how to deal with the whole pregnancy new to begin with, then...do they give you a lifetime expectancy with Downs babies? And then as they grow older do they still have a shorter life expectancy?

jennerator26 @chickykat Well, you can do what I did...and still do...laugh until I cry...then laugh some more (then maybe cry...)! He made me a Valentine one year...and took 3 hours to rip layers of construction paper (really!) into the Best Valentine Ever...that of course money can't buy...and it was when Sarah was in-utero. She was diagnosed at 9-10 weeks...(Jan 2009), then we went to a genetic specialist to confirm. At that time, the Down syndrome took a back seat to them telling me that she just wasn't gonna live. I was a mess. I knew next to nothing about genetic issues, Down syndrome, etc. So all through Feb. I literally was on Sarah-induced bed rest at home. Some "helpful" people tried to get me to just "take care of it." When it became clear that she was going to live...and she had heart condition, I literally didn't talk to anybody negative...even many relatives...because of my blood pressure & dangerous pregnancy issues. I spent literally the entire month of March 2009 researching Down syndrome on and off-line until I knew everything I could. What it really came down to was that Sarah would need me to love her and to have patience. Well, that's what any kid needs...and I already had 2 of those to practice on! My younger sister was helpful; she is a social worker and occasionally works with elderly people with Down syndrome. When I told (ok sobbed to) her about the diagnosis, she said "Well, you can still love a baby with Down syndrome!" Touché. Well said, little sis! Now I laugh because that's all history and Sarah is making her mark on humanity...she's certainly a character...I love this age...with the exception of her undoing just about everything we do (she's a curious little bugger!), I wish she could stay 5 forever! Anyway, we call it Turtle Time since it's her intellectual development that is supposedly delayed. But we have learned over the years that she takes in EVERYTHING...it's the processing of info that is the challenge...spitting it back out (not literally) is the challenge. So we switch to Bunny Time...she's fast, smart, and SNEAKY! Never a dull or dry eyes around here...because we're laughing...crying...laughing...and sleeping...and Poshing! Whew...💞💗❤️😍💐🌺

chickykat @jennerator26 aww!! What a wonderful story! Did she have to have heart surgery while in utero?? My friend's little girl had to have 3 heart surgeries before she was even born! That's got to be pretty cut to watch her wheels turn while checking everything out!! How special!!
