A great app to make poshmarking easier!❌you can only order flat rate boxes through this app, unfortunately they don't work, you will need to use regular priority boxes. You can however order priority boxes online through USPS's regular website.

posh @butterflycat hmm you know I'm not to sure because I still use the poshmark shipping as far as mailing labels go, I mainly use this app for scheduling package pickups and tracking orders. I think if you were to use this app for buying your shipping labels it probably would be maybe a little less on the shipping cost for lighter items, but 5.50 really isn't to bad. I mailed out a sweatshirt and shirt one time directly from the post office and it cost me a little more than $8.00 I was a little shocked how much it cost but it all goes off of weight. I hope this helps😊

mamadouds I got this app but I noticed when I wanted to order supplies it only has the option of ordering flat rate or express mail boxes. Poshmark tells us not to use those and to use just plain priority mail boxes. I told them this at my local post office and they gave me all they had of the plain ones. So once I'm through with these I don't know what to do! :( what kind do you use?

posh @mamadouds hi there, you know you just reminded me of the same problem I had when I started poshmark! I completed forgot you can't order flat rate boxes from the app but if you go to USPS's regular sight from your computer you can order the regular priority mail boxes that are not flat rate, that is what I did. I couldn't find anything but flat rate boxes at my post office as well. I'm not sure why they make them so hard to find? I guess more people use flat rate, but anyways you will be able to order a bunch off of there regular web sight, hope this helps you😊

lenkiss @posh - hi, I use the app too, but you can only order priority flat rate and priority regional boxes on there, right? And those are not for Poshmark shipments. I used the regional one couple of times before and it was delivered ok. What boxes do you use?

michelle1436 @posh what happens if you send your package with a priority mail flat rate box instead of priority mail box with the postmark shipping label?

posh @michelle1436 usually the postoffice won't except it. They will tell you at the post office that you need the right box but if some how you get it past them then your customer will get charged the difference on their end. When you mail flat rate you are charged one price for however much stuff you can fit in the flat rate box, when you mail priority you are charged by weight so when you mail a few clothing items through Poshmarks priority mail you are charged for 2 pounds. It is usually a lot cheaper than a flat rate box. I hope this helps😊

michelle1436 @posh thank you! I didn't know I couldn't ship in those boxes and I sent 3 out last week and I feel so bad! The post office never said anything to me about it when I dropped them off :(

posh @michelle1436 oh don't feel bad, you didn't know, besides your postoffice accepted them. They may not notice at the other post offices either so there may not be any extra charge on the buyers end. I think it all really depends on how picky the post office is😉
