@annabell81 I don't think so. You kind of want to be able to see comments. The only thing disadvantageous to this is if someone throw out a low bid and you accept and then they don't buy. I thinking seeing the interaction process is important for future buyers. If you find out a way let me know!

@ltaula @annabell81 Hey girls! There is no way to delete comments. Basically, you have to delete the entire listing. And sometimes that can be difficult as well!
Did someone make a rude or inappropriate comment on one of your listings? @annabell81 Unfortunately, that's been happening quite a bit lately, and there are ways to deal with that.

@annabell81 Ah, gotcha. Yes, unfortunately there is no way. It'd be nice if a simple little swipe of the finger did it, wouldn't it? I've got one comment I made about one of my listings when I was in a foul mood, and until I read it, I didn't realize how snooty it sounded. So now I'm stuck with it unless I delete the whole listing, which also deletes all the likes, questions about the item, etc.

@annabell81 Yeah, that can be a tricky one. One thing you can try saying is that you were working on a separate deal with that individual, and that you'd be happy to negotiate a new deal with this new person. If you ever lower a price for someone and they don't buy RIGHT when they said they would, switch it back immediately. If they then show up and say, hey, I thought we had a deal, you can say well, when you didn't purchase I switched the price back. Never leave it lowered. Because someone might be hovering and watching and snatch it up for the lowered price. You are never bound by a lower price except to the person you agreed to lower it for, and then only for the amount of time you agreed to lower it. And never lower it unless they tell you they are ready to buy now. Hope that helps. Don't let any of the bully's on here bully you into someone else's negotiated price. I hope that helps some! :-)

@annabell81 @tiatia826 I have come across the same issue! It might be best if you lower the price to tell them a limited time that it will be at that sale price. If they don't purchase it by that deadline you will return it to original price.

@annabell81 You're right - it definitely can be a good then, and you should use it to help determine who you buy from. I was in a closet the other day and found that this girl had scammed almost every single person who bought from her, and it was so evident in the comments under her listings. Usually she would send a completely different, way cheaper version of what the person had bought. Yet people still kept buying from her. Crazy. So yes, it is good to read the comments on a Buyers page. In fact, I even read comments for things I don't want, just to see if there's anything weird or "scammy" feeling.

@annabell81 I agree! I have actually blocked individuals who I have read about scamming because I do not want to see their closet or them to see mine. Only problem I don't believe the blocking function really works because you can still see their closet and accidentally follow them if they change their pic. I had a friend block me on purpose and they said they could do everything as if I had not blocked them. I have since emailed PM about this but have not gotten a response.

@ltaula Yes, I think it's well worth the time it takes. There is quite a bit of scamming going on right now, and you just have to protect yourself as best you can.

@annabell81 No, that's not bad at all! You really have to protect yourself on here, unfortunately. It wasn't at all like this when I first joined the community. It feels like its just happened in the last month. Scammers, bully's, people opening fake closets that have no items listed, and then going around and starting random fights for no reason. My gut tells me its the same group of women doing this. But it is also important to remember that there are some amazing and wonderful women here as well. I have made some dear, close friendships with a few women , and mostly I stick to their closets. I'll buy random stuff every once in a while from someone I don't know, but that can be risky. I've bought two cashmere items on here from two different women I didn't know, and when they arrived they were full of moth holes. Then again, I just bought a beautiful Free People sweater from a Seller I didn't know, and I absolutely love it! So just be careful and definitely read the comments. They will tell you a lot about the personality of the Seller as well.

@tiatia826 I have kind of a random question, you seem very knowledgable. I have a bundle, weighed it, it was 2 lb 12 oz on my scale. So I generated the extra poundage label. My husband took it to post office and they said it was 3 lbs 2 oz and shipping would be $5.60?? They rounded up to 4 lbs? Even with 2 lbs over the 2 I thought it was only $1.99 each pound ($4.00 extra shipping)?? I am so confused and not sure what to do. I threw in some extra stuff for the buyer so she could get her $$$ worth. Now I feel stuck btwn rock and hard spot. Am I doing something wrong at post office. Was I suppose to generate both shipping labels..the extra poundage in addition to the original that covers the 2 lbs?

tiatia826
@ltaula That is a tough one, especially since she already purchased. I think what a lot of Sellers are doing is if they know the package is going to be over 2lbs., then they let the Buyer know that they will have to pay the extra, and then just include it in the amount of the listing, after you both have come to terms. Otherwise you are losing even more money, because you've got the 20% PM commission plus now the extra shipping. I'm afraid in this situation that you are just going to have to eat the cost, which I know is a bummer because you gifted her with some extra free items, which probably helped push it over the pound limit. But don't let that stop you from doing that in the future. The Sellers I go back to are great because they do little extras like that, and we all love getting gifts, right?
As far as how much the extra label is supposed to be per pound, I'm not sure because I haven't shipped anything over the limit since the new policy went into effect. I'm sorry this happened to you. It sucks that you had that added expense after all that, but your generosity and kindness is what will make you a great Seller! You might want to look in the FAQs for an answer to how much each additional pound costs.
Hope that helped!

@tiatia826 So I contacted PM and the buyer (she was so sweet). I guess the post office must be higher. I didn't realize you actually put in the wt amount on PM when generating a new label. I thought that I had to do it at the post office and pay there. So it will all work out! The buyer did agree to splitting the overage figured half was fair (but that is when I thought is was only 3 lbs). It all works out in end as lessoned learned. And the buyer was incredibly sweet..I even spoke with over phone! Thanks so much for your advice!

@ltaula Awesome. I'm so glad it worked out! And you are most welcome, although I'm not sure I helped all that much. :-). But I am so glad that things went well for you.
