Mar 16Reply

angiebabiixoxUr closest is sooooo adorable! Unfortunately I have super sensitive skin and about 90% of jewelry gives me some type of rash.. :( once I get my closest a little more organized and up and going I will share all your cute stuff... And stay strong ... It's really so inspiring when I see someone who is or was sick doing so much .... I really look up to it..... My mom has had lung cancer since the beg. Of 2008 I believe she was about 54 and she has always been in late stage 3 the hospital could of saved her earlier but they kept telling her it was bronchitis and stuff like that for a whole year sending her home with some antibiotics when they found out it was too late not curable anymore .... And she does so so much... It really makes me feel like... Inspired ... I really so idolize it ... Stay strong <3 your really helping more people than you know.

Mar 22Reply

thelovelywife@angiebabiixox thank you and I'm so sorry about your Mom. What a horrible experience for everyone in your family :(

Mar 22Reply

angiebabiixoxAw thank u ... And thank u for giving me hope its really inspiring <3

Mar 25Reply

izasfuntique@thelovelywife I see you have children check out my closet it's only for girls 😄😄😄😜😜

Mar 26Reply

thelovelywife@izasfuntique That is so rude and totally uncool. How you can look at this listing, not read it, and then spam it? How does that even happen? What were thinking? Good lord. You I have to block.

Mar 26Reply

thelovelywifeHEADS UP SPAMMERS: Spam this listing and I will block you. Forever. If you've visited my closet then you know I buy a lot of clothing on Posh. If I have block you for being rude, you've lost me as a customer. Is that worth it? Please find another way to market yourself. Spam has a way of making most Poshers' feel used by you. Think about that. And then scroll away and take your spam with you. We all would like to forget spam is made of people :)

Apr 10Reply

thelovelywife@kd217 You brought a tear to my eye. Today I quietly celebrated 1 yr since my last really hard treatment. You're words are a gift. You've given me such hope that it's not going to come back. As much as I know Melanoma is the most curable form of cancer, having the rug pulled out from under me again is always in the back of my mind. Thank you for that moment you took to share that with me. God bless you and may we both continue to be made of steel :)

Apr 26Reply

thelovelywife@lovedove It's 7 1/2 shoe. 8 Boots. And no, I have too much metal in my legs to wear heels. It's ok though. I still have both my legs :)

Apr 27Reply

lovedove@thelovelywife I saw these amazing I'm talking orange heels.. I was thinking of driving back over but I forgot about the metal. I got lucky & they just took bone from me. It was that or string me together with nuts & bolts & my body seems to reject most things I can't even wear gold. So I was glad on that!! 💋 Ill keep you in mind.

Apr 28Reply

nicolekm@thelovelywife what An inspiration you are! I love your story and you have a beautiful family! I would like to help you keep building your closet, if you like any of the clothes in my closet I will adjust to zero and you can have it for free😀💗

Apr 28Reply

thelovelywife@nicolekm In all the months I've been on Posh I've NEVER had anyone read that story and feel compelled to help with those gym memberships. I am amazed by you. Truly amazed. As I know what's in your heart, I can not, in all conscience, take clothes from you. However, I have an idea that you'll probably like. If you want you can put together some costume jewelry, even broken stuff, and I will purchase the listing for shipping, design with it and then sell it here. This project with the memberships has been a long & slow process. As that has been the case, for quite sometime, I broke down and took the Ace online Trainers Course so that I can at least help them here in my Active Adult Community. And Nicole, a few of them have gone into remission and they are so strong and ready to re-claim their lives. You can't begin to imagine the delight I take in watching them get up, brush themselves off, and move forward with the knowledge that their bodies, although harming them, also had the power to help them all along :)

Apr 28Reply

aliesenberg85You're a beautiful and truly an inspiration! Congrats on your recovery 😊💕

Apr 28Reply

nicolekm@thelovelywife what a wonderful idea!! I will make a listing when I get home today! I am a psychotherapist and I think to help anyone we need to consider the person in a holistic way. the health of our minds and bodies are profoundly related. I fully support you, let me know how else I can help.😀

Apr 28Reply

Apr 29Reply

melody_leeYou're beautiful . Check out my closet ! Will bundle

Apr 30Reply

thelovelywifeSeriously? How does anyone look at this listing and think wow great place to leave an ad for my closet? Man. Thoughtless.

Apr 30Reply

thelovelywifeDear Spammers: I kindly ask that you respect my space. This listing is my introduction to fellow Poshers. If you glance at some of the most recent comments, you'll clearly see you've just placed spam in the middle of a conversation about cancer. Is that really what you wish to do? If so, I'd re-think that particular strategy. You'll put people off with that thoughtless placement of your ads in my closet, or anyone else's for that matter. I've already blocked so many of you and I think that sucks.

Apr 30Reply

_classyclosetHi I'm new at this please share my closet and ill share yours? Thank you goodluck I appreciate it

May 06Reply

tracy58You are such a beautiful inspiration!

May 06Reply

thelovelywifeLadies: I've decided to come forward and share something extremely important to me with all of you. When I discovered that working out makes such a huge difference in post treatment cancer patients, both mentally and physically, I decided to begin putting aside a portion of the funds I receive for each piece. This money will pay for Gym memberships for Survivors who want it but, simply can not afford it after going through the financial loss most Cancer patients realize. It's devastating. Made worse in their soul by a body that's working against them. Later on today I'll put up a listing to bring this front and center where it does belong. I've hesitated to share this until now. Coming forward was a tough decision for me. I don't want people thinking I'm using cancer to make money. I'm not. I'm trying with every talent I have to make a difference in the big scheme of things.

May 16Reply

alegria4rlYou go girl! I can relate...... Love your family pictures, thank you for showing them. I too have a large family.... Btw, I find its better to be light and happy; I think it helps you get through it all. Just a Thankyou for sharing! You go momma!

May 20Reply

alegria4rlRecovering from umpteenth surgery... So what do i do while laying in bed? Posh.... ahahaha! i just wanted to add I love what you do to raise money for health! I am ACE certified, my mom is a 30+year survivor/surviving EVERYTIME the big C hits..... But she is teaching Zumba Gold and has more certain than I do! She raises money for BC awareness along with health.... You and her should work a coastal project together..... I would help! I bet half if not most of these women would join in... Lets have a POSHATHON? Hugs to you Lady!

May 20Reply

thelovelywife@alegria4rl I'm mobile right now but wanted to take a minute to let you know I've read it all. I'm so sorry. I know how that is. I used those back to back surgery downtimes to turn myself into a computer geek. We need an outlet when we go down that hard. Gotta stay positive and stop your mind from dwelling where it shouldn't be :) I'll come back later this evening to say more. In the meantime, be well. Oh. A Poshathon would be great but I guarantee they'd shut it down as a result of complaints. As far as I can tell only Suggested Users can do things of that nature.

May 20Reply

alegria4rlThankyou luv; you are sweet.... Well then can we recruit ladies to do an event? Posh still gets their cut. How do I privately give you my email?

May 20Reply

alegria4rlPS. Yeah 5 surgeries (7) if you count the "little ones" back to back is hard, but they call me smiley because I laugh as much as I can and do as much as I can with a joyful heart:). You are a precious Lady!

May 20Reply

thelovelywife@alegria4rl Would it make you feel all kinds of terrific to know that I had 15 back to backs because I refused to have any more drastic treatments? And I was 53/54 at the time. The time frame was 9 months. I'm now almost 56 and recently celebrated 1 yr in re-mission. If I can do it and walk away so can you :) Tell them you want PT as soon as possible. PT creates all those wonderful happy hormones I value so much. It will also help to get your strength back a lot faster than just waiting it out. You KNOW what I'm talking about :) Ok. I have to stop talking to my iPad now. I'm supposed to be out on a date with hubby. Lol. He looks a little irritated :)

May 20Reply

alegria4rlI know THAT look; My Hubby laughed when I read that part to him! Enjoy your date and ttyl sweet Lady!

May 20Reply

Jul 06Reply

thelovelywifeHi @reneeanderson ... I love your closet as well. As of late the vintage has actually been coming from other Poshers who donate old broken pieces for me to repurpose & design with. A portion of each sale goes in a gym membership fund I opened to help post cancer patients get back on their feet and reclaim their lives. That's why they donate. It's their way of helping me help to help those that I'm able to :)

Jul 06Reply

Jul 10Reply

pookiebeauI honestly don't know, I would just assume that if posh makes these guidelines and rules that they would enforce them and hopefully be fair about it. I myself have little ads and things in my closet, but I don't share them to parties since I saw it in their etiquette I believe. I just looked thru the party and saw a lot of ads, and some other items not allowed, but they always see to stay. :( (sorry had to post here)

thelovelywifeHi Ladies: To all who've taken a moment to share and express your thoughts, thank you. I rarely say anything on this post because honestly, it seems to ruin the magic in here. So, forgive me. Know that I read every comment and say a prayer and silently thank you for sharing, your kind words and your soulful thoughts. Be well and remember, life REALLY is in the moments. Stay focused on those. That's where ALL the GOOD stuff is :)

Dec 14Reply

thelovelywifeHi @mrsmack2 ... No worries. If you go into your app you'll see the guide to posh mark. Once in there there's a link to the FAQ page. In it you'll find a list of acceptable items as approved by posh mark. Better to read that and no, no DVDs :)

lizzie111@thelovelywife You have great things. I wanted to ask, would you ever consider doing a tiny bottle filled with Fl sand and ocean water, and put it on a necklace with maybe a tiny tiny ribbon around the neck of the bottle? I would love something like that. Thank you.

Mar 18Reply

thelovelywifeHi @lizzie111 ... My concern with that is purifying The Sea Water. As far as I know it can only be done by removing the salt. I have no idea how to go about doing that. The Sea Water would become really gross unless purified. The sand isn't a problem. I use that in my bottled Shellology Designs. Sorry to disappoint @lizzie111. If I figure out a way to make a Sea in a bottle piece, I'll tag you :)

Mar 18Reply

lizzie111@thelovelywife Hey, I would love some FL sand then, if there could be like 2 layers maybe? One layer little bit darker sand and the rest with lighter sand? If not, straight up FL sand would be fantastic:) Can you show me where you have the bottled shellology designs? Thank you!

Mar 18Reply

lizzie111@thelovelywife Hi, I would love this necklace but fill the tiny bottle with FL sand. Is this doable? Thank you. https://dtpmhvbsmffsz.cloudfront.net/posts/2014/02/02/52ee8a0b3a3efc636e0c9676/m_52ee8a1a3005270d870bac3c.jpg

Mar 18Reply

thelovelywifeHi @lizzie111 ... I tagged you elsewhere and links don't work on Poshmark. If you still want me to have a look, take a screen shot, list it in your closet and tag me. It's the only way :)

Mar 18Reply

lizzie111@thelovelywife hi, what I did was copy and paste the above URL into the http address line and it came up for me, try that. or, i'll tag the item to you.

Mar 18Reply

My brother has fought with very serious and very scary melanoma too. As we've all come to know, we can't blame it all on the sun. So glad you're doing better!!! Y'all are both miracles in my opinion😄! Have a Great day loving those precious girls!!!

rachamoonwall83I'm so happy for you.. Sometimes the biggest struggles in life can make us so much stronger! I have been through some difficult times in my life and I am a better person today because of it! Nice to meet you btw :)

glistendove@thelovelywife I love your art! I was just wondering if you made specifics if it was ordered. For instance, I LOVE sea glass and would want something with diffrent colors of sea glass on it. Would that be something you could create?

Jun 06Reply

flowergirl64@thelovelywife Amazing Life story! Your Artwork is Beautiful! I have lots of shell you may be interested in to create your jewelry. When I am able to get it from storage. I'll be sure to tag you or let you know if they are in good enough shape to work with. My Husband is a scuba diver and has dove the Carribbean in St. Croix. Let me know if your interested and I will fish them out of storage. It's been many years ago hopefully we can find them for you.

chamorritaHi Billy...I love your shell designs. You are such a creative renaissance woman. BTW, Marlana, gave me your address. Just bought two shell necklaces and a set of pins from her. She has a lovely closet. You're a lovely woman, full of life. Enjoy it to the fullest. Keep designing, will keep you young....

jchick@thelovelywife nothing available?

Jul 17Reply

thelovelywifeHi @jchick ... No. I'm sorry. I closed up my Poshmark due to lack of Sales over a one year time frame. Poshmark is exhausting, made worse if all you sell is one $20 item a month that took thousands of shares to achieve. That's the wrong kind of math :) I actually only Design Sea Shell Jewelry nowadays. I also sell FL Sea Shells from My Collection over on Etsy along with my Shellology Designs. There's a link on the top of this page if you're curious. My Daughter In Law will be opening a closet and selling what's left of all the jewelry I designed and deleted from Poshmark when I shut down. I just want to excavate and collect sea shells and work my Etsy. I figure I've earned that :) Have a great night great night @jchick.
