Hey ladies! My name is Jewels I am not short, I am fun size:) I live every day as though it's my last. I am a mommy and my son Johnny means everything to me. I have married to my very best friend since 2007! I have been almost 100% completely bed ridden since July 2010 and have been in the fight of my life. I am dreaming of dresses instead of hospital gowns and wearing fun shoes and feeling pretty again one day. Every day is tough but I always tell myself to just keep swimming! Oxo

nhibbard @mommyjewels I just read a little about you. I will be praying for you and your family. You seem like a very strong willed and positive person. I'm assuming the fight your fighting is cancer. I know it very well. Not myself, most of my family members on my moms side. Since you are dreaming of dresses, once your feeling up to it, I would like to give you any dress you want out of my closet for free as a gift from me to help you feel girly again. mommyjewels @nhibbard that is so kind of you I couldn't possibly let you do that but that's very kind of you to offer. I actually don't have cancer I have been fighting late stage chronic Lyme disease, Babesia and bartonella. My hair started falling off after a chest port collapsed my lung. I am on life saving immune infusions twice a week for life for a permanent immune disorder and have dysautonomia and POTS. I have been dealing with a lot and because I my immune disorder I get sick all the time Everything from a cold to pneumonia's over and over. I was just hospitalized for a blood infection and staph infection. It's been very tough especially with having my son and missing out on so much. It has been the hardest thing I have ever been through but I am pushing through!!! Thank you for the kind words!!!!

nhibbard @mommyjewels Wow! That's a lot to deal with. Did you get limes from a tick? I insist that you pick out a dress. I love finding ways to be a blessing to others and your situation is a very tough thing to deal with. It would be least I could do to cheer you up. It's only material possessions. Life is more than money and possessions. It would make me soooo happy if I could give you a little something. This world needs more of that. Please take my offer! I insist love. ❤

mommyjewels @nhibbard well thank you I just told my husband and he couldn't believe it. This is incredibly kind of you, truly. I agree, people not things are what is important in life. It is so short and precious and so many take for granted the little things. I will go to your shop in a few:) if you are on Instagram I am mommyjewels there as well. I am on Facebook to but don't want to post that publicly here. I haven't been able to hold my phone or text much but my nurses or hubby have. Now I am able too and it makes isolation less lonely. phoebescloset11 WOW! I hv been sitting here crying over a break up with my boyfriend after 7/8 years then I read your story & feel so selfish. You truly are absolutely beautiful on the inside AND the outside!!!! How do you do it? I hv been through a lot in my life that only my family knows about so you are such an inspiration to me. I am an open book & hv no problem telling ppl how I feel or fighting my own battles BUT I keep so much inside. mommyjewels @phoebescloset11 oh jeri I am so sorry dear! You aren't selfish at all, heartache is awful. It's so ironic that we bruise and bleed but our bodies show no damage during a broken heart. It doesn't make sense because it psychically hurts. I am sorry I don't know you or anything about your breakup but I really do believe everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that sounds so puzzling it even sounds unreal to me as I wonder why my life is like this but it's true. We can't change the cards we were dealt only how we respond to them. Listen to some Music and let yourself cry. Sheryl crows wildflower has some good songs for break ups:( also look up her song "I shall believe." My friends send me that song and we used to have it as "our" song when I was in college as an alpha phi and now it means so much more. It will make you cry but it will also make you feel comforted.

mommyjewels @phoebescloset11 you ask how I do it and I get that a lot. My answer....I have no other choice. I don't know how I have come this far I shouldn't be here but I am and I have fought long and hard. My son needs me and he is my entire world, he needs his mommy. My husband needs his best friend and I am going to keep fighting with every fiber of my being. One day at a time that's all any of us can do right? I'm on Instagram mommyjewels I am just now able to hold my phone and get back in touch with people which is amazing. I haven't been able to have friends or anyone outside of nurses docs and immediate family since last June so that has been sooo lonely. I am Going to get my life back. I want it more than anything. All these wonderful comments mean more to me than I could ever put into words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

phoebescloset11 Funny u brought up music. I have to have music around me all the time. I'm a flight attendant & even at wrk I'm in the galley with my ear phones on listening to whatever song I want & need to hear at the moment. Music can change your mood instantly. Different songs will make you remember different times in your life, help you forget, inspire you, make you cry, make you happy, make you realize & see things differently. When I was younger I could sing every word but not til I got older did I even listen to the words & their meaning. I will get over my break up. We hv all been there! I only said that bc I felt selfish. It's been so tough & then I look at you & think I don't even know what tough is. We have all suffered..but sometimes it's internally where no one can see it. loridanielle22 As I sit here reading what all these ladies have posted and reading what you have posted brings me to say that...at some point in our life's we take everything for granted wether it be materialistic items such as these dresses and shoes that we post or the breath that we take each morning. It's crazy how God can make things happen. Use this to be a child of God and an inspiration to others as you already are!! First off you are beautiful inside and out!! And your family seems very amazing! I don't have a very supportive family and I feel you are truly blessed! I myself have been very sick at times through out my life...living months in a hospital bed..surgery after another being poked and poked thousandsof times, but one thing I always stayed true to was my faith! Believe me when I say God is using you in more ways than you can account for!! Just as helping someone in heartache or someone going through similar things. mcjayne @nhibbard I just read a lot of your posts and am so glad I ran into your page, I at first thought you had cancer too ( I have latent stage multiple myeloma, not a good one) but when is being ill and hurting ever good? You reminded me this morning why we are here...to LIVE TRULY LIVE. Whether it be ten years or ten more weeks you pass on your message to others just by bringing yourself to the table and saying here I am! No matter that our hair falls out or our bodies hurt and sometimes we spend the days staring at what seems to be the same patch of wall or the ceiling and what I have to say is welcome back and keep going! You are truly an inspiration and if you need anything I am here for you.

mcjayne @mommyjewels I read your story and am so glad I found you on here. Keep going and I can truly promise everyday gets better. I have Non-curable latent stage multiple myeloma and its so nice to see someone else getting through the long tunnel and making your life again...and you will make a life again, you already are living to your fullest and what more can we ask for? Our fullest may not be what others have but it's all we know and have. You can do this, but you already know that.

mcjayne @nhibbard it's not until you have to see yourself differently that you really see others and you are so kind, mommy jewels is a tough little bird and we all have our low points in life-it's nice to be reached out to and I think it's helped me by being on here. I hope it cheers her up too. Nobody should have to suffer but sadly we do and it's honestly a case of putting one foot in front if the other and breathing in and out all day long with this.
