ncgal @lisamichele1968 They are made with very strong elastic cord. The only way to break them is to pull and keep pulling until it breaks. You have to really TRY to break them! This pair has all acrlyic beads, so they will be okay to get wet. (Metal ones...not so much.). Just rinse in clear water and let air dry to remove salt water. They should last a very long time! If not, u can let me know and I will make it right. By the way, if you send me a cashiers check, I will pay postage, saving u $6.99.

ncgal @lisamichele1968 If it helps you decide: keep yr sandals in a ziplock bag when you aren't wearing them along with my card. If they should break, you can send all the beads back to me along with the unbroken one (to use as a pattern) and I will restring them. It only costs about $1 for postage.

ncgal @pamela77 This is my pair, because I can wear them with about anything. I can make something in a similar, simple design like this in clear and pearl. I can also add tiny metallic silver/gold beads for a little more sparkle. I will try to work on it tomorrow, if not, it will be the first of the week. Will be $15. And if you pay thru PayPal or send me a money order/cashiers check, I will pay postage.
