I don't need to be shopping around haha! 2) I have a very particular style, and I don't want to clutter up my feed with tons of things that do not fit in with my personal taste. I'm 26 down since Dec (including almost 2 months of not being able to get past 20 lbs until last week!) and 90 is my goal! Clothes and fashion are a great motivation (along with my husband coming home from Afghanistan in 2 months and seeing me for the first time in 9 months and when he left I was huge lol!) and it's inspiring to know that others have done it too! Sounds like you have some great motivation to work with...One trick I used (so shameless) was to buy myself one really beautiful or nice thing, in the next size or two down...then I'd hang it up somewhere really visible where I'd see it every day... A fun (and REWARDING ;-)) trick!

Hey! Looks like you've been doing this much longer than I & seems like you have a very honest selling approach which is what I'm a for. I'm about to carry out my first sale and curious if you always sell to your buyers thru the PM platform or use Paypal or other similar services. I know alot of users go around PM via email & PP to get around the 20% commission but the guarantee is a good peace of mind. Would love to get your advice when you have a second! Thanks so much!

@afehrenbacher hi there! You are so sweet to reach out to me. Believe it or not, I've only been here 2 months, but you're right about my approach! I'd MUCH rather cultivate relationships with my buyers and have them come back than have someone be disappointed with their purchase for an extra few dollars. Thus far, I've stuck to PM for sales. I would consider making an exception to that for someone who I have an established relationship with, and for a big ticket item where were taking about a much larger difference, rather than 20 or 40$. Ultimately, it's up to you. It's definitely a lot riskier for a BUYER to go thru PayPal than the seller, so that's worth considering!

@meghanebert hi lady! I'm happy to help however I can and answer questions. First, yes, I have had a lot of success with posh! I had some good luck right off the bat, got totally hooked, and now I can't stop haha! Sometimes 10 days will go by with no interested, and then 4 things will sell in the same day without anyone negotiating or asking questions... You never can tell! The best piece of advice I would have to offer is to invest the time in taking the best photos you can. @_simonett is a PRO at it, and she wrote a post for the posh blog all about it! Making sure your items are fresh and pressed makes a difference too! As for my jewelry, I get a little bit from here, a little bit from there... It just depends on what I find online, what kind of sales I come across, etc. And I only buy things I like/would wear, in case it doesn't sell haha! As for hosting a party, I don't have an answer for you... Just lucky that I got asked! Hope I answered all your questions... Happy poshing!
