Hello, loves! My name is Victoria. I was an Army Flight Medic and absolutely loved my job. I have done two tours to Iraq and now I am in medical school to be a psychologist to help my fellow vets. I am married and have two girls and love them dearly. I am selling various things in my closet with proceeds going to help my fellow brothers and sisters in arms...especially my sisters since they make up the majority of the homeless veteran population.

militaryangel Thanks, loves. @lanap87 it was difficult to be away from the kids. I left my youngest at 7 months old when I left for my 2nd deployment. My oldest was 2. @jodieboehm69 that pic was taken in 2004... That's where we met. It was the night before I left to go back to Germany. My unit deployed there before his unit, so he had to be there another month to finish his tour.

militaryangel @babsmr I was stationed at Fort Myer when I came back stateside from Germany. I loved watching the Old Guard and the full honors for burials. Always gave me goosebumps. God speed to you, your mother, and the rest of your family. I thank them for their service. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have been able to serve.

My dad is a hero, being held captive for 5 years in Vietnam... I can't imagine what you guys go through! Thanks for helping the vets... They need it and more should help! I bet you two look so cool going to the military balls together!!! I dated a navy seal a few years back, he used to fly me to Norfolk to see him, but he was freaking crazy!!! militaryangel @sylverarch Bwahahaha...there are those few in SF type MOS's that you gotta let go. Crazy is an understatement. You're dad is a hero. Everyone that has served before is a hero. If it wasn't for them, people like your father...how or what would serving be like today, you know? I went to PA's 1st Women Veteran Symposium and there were 7 WWII veterans. I was able to take pics with two, one of them who was wearing her original uniform while serving during Pearl Harbor. It's amazing.

militaryangel @kc1101 While in Iraq in 08, I created a Pt program similar to the new PRT now. My soldiers literally MF'd me but they saw results. Well I had invited me of my crew chiefs to do PT with us and he's all...I don't do chick PT. so I was like...ok, you're coming to PT with us tonight. The next day, he couldn't bend his knees and had winced when trying to pick up the log to do aircraft maintenance. I was helping out in Ops and saw that. I was like, awe, did chick PT hurt? He looked at me, flicked me off, and walked out of the CP. I just laughed so hard.

jaydenjsjemz I did 12 years active Army, multiple deployments, then had to get out bc of injuries and a diagnosis of MS... 😞I can very much appreciate the medics bc without you guys I may not still be here and I'm sure you know the rest so "thank you" I still do the same job as a civilian though... I have moved from Orlando to a town in SC that is predominately made up of military families and the other day as I was playing with my baby outside my neighbors across the street were embraced crying and the daddy was saying goodbye to his children and newborn 😢😩😫 I cried like a baby watching it he literally drove off came right back and kissed them goodbye again I had to sit down because I couldn't get a grip on my emotions !! I thanked God for allowing me to have my husband here but today I want to thank you because it's you and all the amazing soldiers who sacrifice their lives to allow it's to remain here ! 💗💖💕💓 thank you from the bottom of my heart

I haven't had a chance to properly introduce myself yet so we don't know each other and the other day I was walking to pick up my son from school since we live nearby and it was beautiful out and I guess he thought I didn't have transportation so he pulled over and offered us a ride I thought that was so sweet ! My heart hurt when I saw him with his kids that day ! There's another neighbor a few houses away with 6 kids 😱 and the daddy was away for the holidays because right after the new year they had a hugeee welcome home sign for their daddy for weeks after 😢 I feel so blessed and I think God wanted me to appreciate my husband more hence why I'm surrounded by military families ok I'll stop my banter ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart I don't think you all get the credit you all truly deserve💖

A mother of 4 children 2 in college and 2 still little, I have 3 sons and 1 daughter my oldest is 21 son, going to college studying electrical engineering arcitectu re, my daughter is 19 going to law school to be a lawyer and my 14 year old want to be a pro basket ball player and my 11 year old wants to be a solider and policeman a fireman and an inventor lol I say he can so it all..... My husband is a federal agent and as of July I'm a stay at home mom, tending to my mother who's been diagnosed with stage 4 médiatatic ovarian cancer, that's what kind of brought me to posh. I read your post of a family member who has also been battling his ugly disease and I will keep you and your family in my prayers..... Many blessings to you and just as many thanks :)
