One of my favorite formal dresses I ever purchased!! It was worn ONCE, dry cleaned and stored in a smoke free home. Great for Prom. It can be worn strapless or with the tiny attached silk ribbon tied around your neck. Needs no jewelry around your neck with the edgy bling horseshoe! β€ It was also tailored for my height at 5'4 β€οΈ if you need measurements please ask. π I bought this at a local boutique and paid 350 dollars for it, plus alteration price of approx 100 dollars.

@nero322 omg Lisa, so do I! I have Dakota's in many colors and 3 pairs of Alena's. But my Chestnut Dakota's, well, I'm on my second pair. I have many rescue dogs and am retired Navy, I served 24 years and never went back to work. I love being home with them all day so I live in comfy clothes mostly. But since posh I have a ridiculously huge wardrobe. All the time I spent gone is probably why I love being home. π

@nero322 I saw that pic of your dad, I served 2 tours with the Marine Corps myself during my Navy career. One at Lejeune and one at Marine Forces Command where I retired from in 2007. I loved it!!!! I would have stayed with the Marines most of my career if I could have.

Oh yes, I can wear it when I go to all those red carpet events and formal galas that I'm constantly invited to (NOT) LOL!!! I have had soooo many formal dresses in my life when I was married to my first husband (Navy). We were always going to Dining Outs and Navy Balls, etc. I finally got rid of all of them except for 2 that I love and I'll probably never wear them ever again!

@tinovia I have raised and lowered the price on this a bunch of times. What would you be willing to spend? It is gorgeous gorgeous and I'm completely honest about what I paid for it. And for alterations it was all in all 450. The material is divine and it's really unique. I would bundle this and the j crew dress for a hundred or less.
