lostandfawned @vanessashanks From armpit to armpit it's 18" flat. At the narrowest part of the waist it's 15" flat. And from shoulder to bottom hem is 40". These are flat measurements, so take a dress you like and lay it flat and measure across.

lostandfawned @vanessashanks Since the zipper is in the back instead of the side that makes it significantly easier. I'm not a tailor, but I think a good seamstress could handle it. How many inches are we talking in the bust?
