How long did it take for you to get your stuff back ? It's been over a week and I still haven't gotten my back pack returned to me... And I was falsely accused for stains... Now I'm scared I will get my back pack back with stains and not big enough... She stated she wanted to cancel the order the days shipped... Pm is not emailing back and I don't know when I'll get it back....help!

@mindey89 I'm not sure what to say. Poshmark has really let me down! I am very disappointed in the way they handle returns. It's not right for these women to change their minds or make things up. From what I understand they can pretty much say anything to get a return. After that poshmark even will put a charge to you for the shipping label. Last but not least I have to say simply changing your mind and wasting the sellers time money and gas is not right. I had many items on here to sell they all have been take down! Poshmark is NOT a fair place to sell your items!!!!! I would not recommend poshmark to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so glad i saw this! i am currently have an issue with a buyer claiming an item i posted is NOT AUTHENTIC and posh mark has chosen in favor of the BUYER. posh has made claims that they "investigated" and will be sending my stuff back but that isnt good enough for me. a sale is a sale in my opinion. the buyer got exactly what i posted in my closet i had all the necessary images and communication. DONE WITH POSH

I am so disappointed with posh . A buyer purchased a item on June 4th and now on July 8th posh refunded her. Sounds very dishonest to me .

I couldn't agree with this post more! I've had this happen to me twice now. The items were exactly as described and posh still sided with the buyer! There is no "investigation" into anything and the seller never gets sided with. Ridiculous.

Okay, then next time you go to a store and buy an item without trying it on then realize you don't like it on you, or it doesn't fit, or feel that you could've gotten something better for a lower price at a different place, don't return it, just keep it in your closet collecting dust.. and how about instead of selling it online, have a yard sale! See how well selling a t-shirt for $25 dollars works out for you.

So did posh offer you credit? I am being offered credit and it says accept or refuse but I'm scared if I refuse I won't get squat!

@desstoni12 don't get it wrong - I love posh and being part of the posh community but everyone I have dealt with so far has been very up front - and I try to be very upfront about all flaws. The claim I filled out you have to send in photos - but I guess people could maliciously stain items to get their money back which is horrible - but bad things can happen both ways ...

I have someone returning an item that they are claiming is the wrong size, but I'm 100% sure it is the right size that I listed it as. This buyer doesn't have any listings, no reviews, no shares, very few follows. Should I be worried about it being a fake profile, or maybe someone who is trying to rip me/PM off in some way? I've seen listings where the seller has expressed they will not sell to anyone with less the "x" amount of purchases or sales. Does anyone else do this?

I'm also done with poshmark. I'm new to this app and on my second sale some girl I guess decided she no longer wanted an item and stained it so she could return it. When in the pictures I posted of the item it clearly did not have any stains what so ever at the time of sale. It's not right! And the b still hasn't shipped back my item! Done, done, and done!

@saraxmaria I never received my Gucci purse back from the buyer but Posh did pay me for the item. So I guess it eventually evened out. Just took a while.

@banana59 I sold a near perfect 2011 Patagonia parka (retail $379) to this gal (chloeeg1) and she claimed it wasn't authentic. I showed the RN number, the style number, video reviews, etc, proving that it was authentic, and Patagonia sided with her because I didn't keep the receipt from nearly 6 years ago. WHY isn't the burden of proof on the buyer to prove that the item wasn't authentic? (P.S. I've sold 17 Patagonias and have 600 listings)

@ggrowler it's just like my case, and I try to show everything to proved it's vintage Louis vuitton bag that date code is different with new one and Louis Vuitton change how to reads date code about 2-3 times , but still posh mark go to buyer side them not listen to me at all, but after I got it back I resale it , this time my buyer ask me to show her everything about date code and heatstamp she Google it so she say it is in good side hopefully this time will work,

I have someone that bought a two item bundle from me, and then every few hours for days she has been "adding a bundle" of items which she never finishes. It's irritating, but it happens. No big deal. Now, she received the actual items she purchased and has filed a claim. Who knows for what? Poshmark send me an email it was under review and asked me to give feedback- but I have NO IDEA what the issue is. No details- nothing. I sold her a NWT dress and a perfect handbag. WTH?

I sold a pair of shearling boots in excellent condition and the buyer claimed there was "significant wear" and requested a refund. Posh sided with her in spite of my sending them photos of the boots that showed that the condition was indeed excellent. Does Posh refund the seller the original shipping charge and charge the seller for return shipping as well? In other words, does the seller take a $12 loss on any return? Also, is there some sort of black mark on the seller's account? Thanks!

@cjulien89 me too! I provided "feedback" and asked for more information as to what the buyer felt was misrepresented. My item was in great condition and I answered all questions asked honestly and inspected the item several times when listing, answering questions, and before shipping. But PM sided with the buyer and won't tell me what was misrepresented about the item??? I buy and sell a lot of items on PM and am disappointed that they cannot even offer an explanation.

I'm going thru the exact same thing except for this buyer is new to posh...go figure. She opened a dispute claiming the item she purchased is not a describe and of course posh is asking me to chime in on the dispute, but they won't disclose her claim which is pointless on my part and it defnitely doesn't help my case.

@savon not yet. But after I emailed after they authorized it to ship back and requested more information. The buyer claimed that there was minimal pilling under the arms (I disclosed that there might be minimal pilling) and the picture she attached was so fuzzy you couldn't see much (but ironically the clear part of the photo showed no pilling) and she said there was a pink stain. It looked like someone had taken a pink marker at marked (also ironically a place not pictured in the listing).

I inspected the item three times in three days because she was asking questions about it and there was no pink mark when I sent it. I suspect she didn't like the item and knew she had to make a case for return and marked it. I haven't gotten it back yet, but I imagine that I'll receive a stained item back in the mail and there probably isn't anything I can do about it. Definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

@k1kid Ugh eww!! I can't believe Posh condone to this kind of behavior. Sadly, there's protection for the seller, but yet they generate so much profit off of us. I'm supposed to have a bag ship back to me within the next couple of days. She claimed it wasn't nwot, but I clearly wrote in the description along with several photos attached. Hopefully I get it back in the same condition as I shipped it. If not, I'll just have to put her on blast. 😏

@amy0592 ugh! Those are the worst kind of buyer. They're constantly filing claim or disputes. As a matter of fact, I'm dealing with one right now. Zero purchases, feedbacks, listing..etc.

I just sold an item and it didn't show as delivered HOWEVER the buyer writes in the comments that she received them and they didn't fit so she "sent them back to where they came from". What's gonna happen? She didn't file a case, just apparently sent them back... but I'll have no tracking! They're authentic LV shoes! I'm freaking out!!! I sold an apple watch and the buyer claimed it wasn't unlocked (It was) she managed to unlock it 2 sec after i gave her my icloud info, now posh is approving her case as not as described and I am going to have a locked apple watch sent back to me :(

Wow! I'm so glad I saw this... I made a post about this the other day and another Poshmark user literally attacked me. This woman spent $200 in my closet and got 32 items, I paid extra to send it out. She claimed there was a hole in a sweater and that she ordered all those items and only wanted the one sweater. Poshmark approved her return and it's been since Dec 22 that I've been dealing with this lady. They approved her return on Jan 12 and she still hasn't shipped it. Ugh such a pain... 🙄

@angelacantabile it's "peases" ... I absolutely can't stand those people. I have sold 909 listings and have a 4.9 rating. I also double check everything and will cancel a sell if I have to because I don't want my buyers getting a "surprise."

I've messaged Poshmark several times and I have not had a reply. Since filing the claim they have connected the Watch and started using it but now they do not reply and no payment has been released

This JUST happened to me! A buyer bought two pieces of clothing from me which had no damage at all. Practically brand new because I've only worn them once or twice and I stated that in my description. She then filed a claim saying they were damaged and she came back saying they were "dishelved", "color was coming out of the seams" (what does that even mean?!) and they were "worn" when that's not the truth. So frustrated! .Does anyone know how long it takes to review a case?

I'm literally dealing with this right now somebody claimed that what they bought from me which was a Michael Kors handbag that I have pictures of the tags and she claimed that It was not authentic and that it was plastic when I bought it from Marshall's and it has ALL markings on the hardware and inside the bag with NO damage 🙄 whatever, at lest I get my bag back

@alienhanna I never got the handbag back. Posh did however refund me the value of the bag. The item the buyer sent me was actually a item she had listed so I was able to prove and provide pictures of the item and that she didn't return the handbag but instead another item.

Today a case was opened saying she claimed --- not authentic on shoes that are! Hello they are stuart weitzman for $45! Even fakes sell for more than that. Posh sided w/buyer & shes been asked to send me the item back! She has good feedback & all :/ Clearly I have learnt that I can say "not authentic" on any item & win as a buyer!

I have seen this happen to some buyers on here but never thought this would have happened to me! Have been selling for 8 months now and I had some rough transactions but recently I had two returns that were just buyers who didn't want the item anymore and they are letting them return/ Sellers are not protected at all, people should not use this app anymore it is an utter waste of time. Got 2 separate emails so they cant even keep track of whose doing what! One again listed baseless 3 points & othr actually gave me a pic saying logo isnt ok! Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, after months of good reviews and 5-star ratings. Buyer claims "item not as described". It took poshmark 1 week to resolve the issue with just the buyer providing all the photos to compare my listing with. Buyer was denied of her return request so she gets to keep the item and I get to keep my earnings. Lesson well learned. I now take detailed videos of my sold items while I wrap, pack and seal them.

I provided so many links and an ebay guide telling them why my item is not fake. They sit on it then send the same email again "we concluded not authentic because of stitching, fabric, logo" which a blatant lie. I want nothing to do w/ this app but come to update you guys! An update- finally won my case.last 6 days I was told my shoes arent authentic cos of fabric,stitching &logo! I was persistent becos it wasnt abt the measly $36.I felt violated by buyer &humiliated by Poshmark!

@kristllel I won the case so buyer gets shoes & I got my $$. This is their email today "Thank you for your patience. We have reviewed the order and the item is as described and authentic. We have gone ahead and released the funds to your account". You have to use public platforms to call them OUT. My case was settled for the buyer TWICE! Hi ladies, this just happened to me! I have been selling on posh for a few months and everything has been fine. I sold a pair of worn once Salvatore ferragmo loafers, worn once. They had the original box, tissue paper, dust bag, receipt and the card of the sales person who sold them to me. She opened a case saying not as described. What do I do? She has my receipt and everything!

@smordica I was thinking the same thing! They should give an option to post a video in the listing! You can put 8 grt photos but buyer can say anything apparently! Read abt "stain inside" and "tear in underarm" - both conveniently things that arent in photos! I would do a video inside out & all around!!! But then again who has time - useless to sell here. One bad experience leaves you violated.

@lilo1825 I'm a seller! I only sell. My buyer on my Longchamp bag wasn't even home when they tried to deliver the bag. The left a notice and she didn't even acknowledge it until a week later. It was finally delivered today and she said item is not as described she wanted to cancel the order. She can get the case all she wants but my bag better be returned to me in the way it was sent out. I've never had any issues with selling. 5/5 stars. I'm done with posh.

I just had this happen to me as well. "Item not as described". The item was brand new in all the original packaging. I actually had second thoughts for letting it go so low. Buyer had zero previous transactions. I should have checked 😒 Also, I noticed the amount of comments on this post increasing. I wonder if there is any correlation between these transactions.

Im pretty sick of dishonest sellers. Twice now i have been lied to about sizes. Bought a "small" vest that was falling apart at the seams and was HUGE. The tags were convienently cut off. And bought shoes that were a smaller size than the listing said. Ive filed for a refund and sent pictures to prove it, and emailed PM directly. Its been a week and they still havent reviewed my case or emailed back.

Found out today, her case was approved for additional wear. They provided me no photos. These shoes were exactly as pictured. I am hoping I get them back with the receipt box & dust bag. What happens if I get back a damaged item. These were 500 originally.

@kristllel same here. 1. Research other poshers selling same shoes if possible! 2. Try to find an ebay guide on that brand showing why they are not fake! 3. Try to see if the company you bought from is still selling the shoe & share the link. Just say you dont agree to this and will take further because you gave them a receipt that clearly indicates the authenticity of the shoes!

@rossi21s well you documented it so your case should be strong! She had 3 hours she didnt use that timeframe to cancel so keep saying that incase she opens a case. I doubt she will becos shes documented it as a mistake. She can reposh it! So dont work out anything with her - stop all communication! She has 3 days open a case for "not as described" but thats not your case so see if she opts for that! But otw hang tight and dont communicate.

@mbutry I received a non authentic eye Pallet that was broken to the point I can't even shut it! It's the too Faced Peach Pallet 🍑. It has literally taken them weeks, countless photos, and I'm still waiting on a response about it. I think it can go either way. It's hard to decide who's telling the "truth" but without some type of return policy, the buyer can get screwed too. 😐🙁

@jshields24 buyers are 100% protected on posh. If item is not as described you win automatically.I once shipped something on ebay which was perfect when I shipped it! I also had a video.When the buyer received it she said there was a dent so filed a case! I thought she was making this up &showed my video to ebay but they still sided with buyer. When I did get the item back it had a dent so could have happened in the shipping process. So perhaps yours got damaged? How were pics seller posted?

@lilo1825 the pics were perfect. But this wasn't a dent that could get done in shipping. The box was completely ok and the pallet was wrapped inside. The dent was so bad that it bent the whole entire Pallet. Poshmark had me send photos of both the pallet and the box, I assume that was also a concern of Poshmark. The pallet was also listed as authentic and it wasn't. I sent it back yesterday, fingers crossed that there are no more issues! ❤️❤️ seller doesn't respond to my comments.

Well, the buyer doesn't always win. Bought a pair of jeans after checking the company's size chart. They had been dry cleaned and there was considerable shrinkage - I couldn't even get them on. Was just told that it's my fault for not asking enough questions. I'm really unhappy - this isn't a "clearly I've gained a few pounds" moment with my measurements - these pants have to be at least 2-3 sizes smaller.
I've contacted the seller and offered to pay shipping if she'd do a return with me.

Wow at these comments. I just had to share my horror story. Buyer returned a pair of brand new studded shoes. They were perfectly wrapped and shipped. Not only were they thrown in the bow back which created scratches, it was covered in nasty hair and they purposely took a stud off! They are sewed on. Who does that?!?! I'm so upset and irate I could cry right now. To go out of your way to damage an item that was perfect is beyond me. I have contacted poshmark so we'll see. This is unreal.

Same thing JUST happened to me. I sent out a brand new pair of heels and the buyer (@munequita38) is returning for "missing heel cap". All of my listings clearly state any damages to any items because I know how it feels to receive an item that is really damaged (and this one was not!). What is funny is that she didn't even comment that the item was damaged, she just filed a case. Now I'm going to receive a damaged item back for no reason.

How seller I didn't have a bad experience, but how buyer - a lot! Some sellers write what item worn once, like new, posted pictures with bad quality or said what item without stains or holes - but i received a half of my purchased items with those defects... Its really sad what some sellers lied and waisted my time and money... In this situations i'm pleased what Poshmark protected buyers...

I've only been selling on Posh for a little over a month. So far, no problems, but I feel like it's only a matter of time before it happens to me. My question is this: because these transactions are being done through the USPS, is this not somehow mail fraud, a federal offense. Would be hard to prove most cases, but having a recording showing you opening an empty box is pretty damning evidence.

I would seriously consider contacting an attorney, or even calling the local police department in her city with proof (the recording), and see if they can't pay her a visit. And the more valuable the item, the larger the penalties and or fines might be. I'm just hoping this doesn't happen to me. I'm thinking I'll be making a switch back to Ebay. Neither item had descriptions about damage. I emailed posh and asked if I could open a case or if I was partially at fault because I didn't ask about damage. response says they have a high number of emails right now. Anyone know how long into the third day I have to open a case, or should I just open it tmrw (day2) to be sure?

I'm glad I'm not the only one angry with poshmarks buyer protection policy. I think it's so wrong that poshmark always gives the buyer their money back on purchases and let's them keep the item they bought!!! The seller gets their pay as well usually but that's not the point..What's happening is the buyer is turning around and selling the item they complained about.. I am so angry with how people are taking advantage of this and it's happened twice to me in the past week!!

@jaysablackwell I am having the exact same issue. Except this girl casts the bag was falling apart 🙄 which it was not. I took time stamped pictures of the thing but clearly she does this on purpose. She demanded I ship it to her within a day of the sale and then opened up a claim within 8 minutes of it being dropped off at her door. She's done this before by some of the notes in her closet. People never seem to amaze me 😒 like does this happen all the time?

I am very new to poshmark and my first sale went very smoothly. Can't say the same for my 2nd one. I sent a pure white top to a buyer in pretty much perfect condition. She opened a case stating there was animal hair on the top and they accepted her case. I reached out to her because I don't even own a animal due to my apartments rules. She said that animal hair must of been a typo because the underwire on the shirt sticks out when you wear it.

I believed this story at first until I realized I have a picture of me trying this shirt on and the underwire doesn't stick out at all. Then the photos of it were released. It is literally a picture of a grey comforter with white specs that she made look like animal hair on top. 😒 also it's the only photo that she submitted. I just had the same issue. Irritated is an understatement. She claimed "didn't receive correct item" when in actuality she just changed her mind and wanted her funds back to purchase something else. I'm near close if not right there, to quitting Poshmark for good because of this.

I bought a shirt it had a big hole in it and they made me send it back so that's what makes me mad how those others don't have to send it back to me and they got refunded. Reading has horrified me. horrified me more; people complaining wrong items & being so nasty about sellers. I take videos before I box anything I take complete thorough pictures I keep a file so happens I got proof. I've been selling getting great reviews 4.9 star rating. I have had 2 people complain 1st who tried lowball a brand new dress with tags! She finally accepted counter-offer & wtote a lie rvw. Now woman saying a purse not correct color that I stated!

This is very heartening to me Poshmark needs to stick up more for their Sellers and realize there are a lying deceitful people in the world who will do anything to get their money back. And the photograph Poshmark should not be permitted to give them their money back ever. As far as name brand high-end items and you've got the serial numbers the proof that it is a real authentic item with no stains and no problems absolutely not NO REFUND! And I'm tired of people low-balling me $5 for a new with tags dress that cost 75. Most sellers I've noticed try to be as honest and as Fair as they can don't buy from someone who only has a few pictures or not willing to send more!

I'm really CURIOUS here. Has anyone had to deal with a buyer returning an item and it either #1: came back damaged than when it went out or #2: the buy sent a different item back like for example your authentic purse you sent them came back as a cheap fake. Anyone every had this? What did you do? I would literally flip out. I take pics before I ship to cover myself. I might start to video tape when I send and if I receive the item back.

@msjillianrae poshmark gave me my earnings just don't agree with them on letting buyer keeping item and getting a refund. They should advise them they are not allowed to resell item ya know. I think there should be an area on here maybe this can be the place where everyone can drop the usernames of those people to stay clear of so others know. I'm seeing it happen more and more not only with me but reading in others profiles. Sad!!!

@msjillianrae I just did this yesterday cuz I read on a buyer who bought from me yesterday that she claimed she never got a package and I want my proof for poshmark if she opens a case. Took photos of item and it wrapped and inside box and taped shut . Poshmark will have proof it shipped with tracking

I have been on Posh for a long time and have really good ratings and have never had a return. I just got my first claim filed against me because the buyer said the purse wasn't authentic. It was! I only sell authentic items. I looked on her page, and she accused another buyer of selling a non-authentic item tonight too. I am really nervous! I have heard horror stories. How long does it take to hear back from Posh in regards to the claim? Any advice?

@kbean156 I completely understand, I'm on the same awaiting my item to be returned to me. Apparently once a claim gets approved against you have a caution under your posh stat. If you go under posh stats where it shows days to ship, etc the caution will be there if the claim gets approved.

I know this is an old feed. But I have a question. I just had my first issue with buying on poshmark. I purchased a floral bomber jacket Which was a tough choice because of all the different patterns. I finally chose the one I loved most. And it came and it was a different floral pattern than the 5 pictures in the listing. So Is that ok? Why isn't it as described. Yes it was floral design but not the same at all ???!! As if its not bad enough, i was browsing through Brands and made the mistake of looking at 10.Deep brand. User name sylivamelendez is just one of many posts that appear to be "trafficked" or posting of their own will. Also even more revolting was pic of young boy with user name hump87. Beyond sick. Exactly what is the deal with pretty much everything on the 10.Deep branch? If PM is such a "reputable" company and monitors content closely, apparently posting a glass of water, an eyebrow, blank squares and humans with a pricetag on them, even if the ones posting it think its funny; makes the whole PM site look like jackholes are in charge. Only reason im still on here is because im supposed to be getting boots 2mrw. Fingers crossed.

From the buyers perspective I want to say that we're not all bad, lol. I buy on here quite a bit and I've had a mostly great experience! There's always going to be a few a-holes who ruin it for everyone else. Of all my purchases, I've had to return 4 things for misrepresentation. It wasn't a matter of receiving it and changing my mind. The items simply were not as described. Period. Sadly, I think there's dishonesty on both sides of the fence.

I sent a shirt out and he buyer lied there was an odor. It was washed and clean. They sent documentation but how can you prove an odor on pictures? Poshmark sided with them and now the item is being sent back to me. I suspected the girl lied and had a change of heart when she saw the shirt in person and filed a report that it was misrepresented that it had an odor.

@alicehoopz have you tried ebay? That's where I sell. Seems like their fees are less and when a buyer opens a claim you actually have 3 days to respond. Unless something is dramatically different from the listing you have the option to close the case yourself without issuing a refund. Of course then the buyer can trash you with a bad review. I guess they all have their problems.

I've read horror stories here about some bad buyers in particular and I don't like that they can post negative comments all over your stuff for anyone to see, and then possibly be afraid to purchase from you due to past "issues". Just make sure to use all 8 photos to get every image u can of what ur selling and descriptions accurate since that's what poshmark checks when determining the refund to seller. I always msg buyer asking them if they have viewed all the photos and read descriptions since all my items I sell are preowned and they appreciate that I ask. Happy selling. Also block all users when they do this to you I do lol and low ballers

Sounds like people have figured out how to get stuff for free! This just happened to me for the first time I was shocked. The person bought a pair of my jeans that were basically new for well below what I was asking for them. Then they waited until the last second, before I would automatically get my earning from no response, to report it as being damaged but they were brand new jeans!

Poshmark should have a suggestion box...I think the more popular the app has become, more scum is being attracted to it. Ive been buying/selling for 2 years..and only in the past month have I gotten 2 cases opened on me. Both for "items not as described"...and without even getting a chance to simply say BULLSHIT, Posh refunds their money. Thanks for this thread! Does anyone have an idea what happened in my case? I checked funds and noticed some were missing from a sale. Go to see an item had been canceled. This item was sent and delivered and the buyer never accepted it so funds were released to me. At that point that should be final sale right? Two weeks later, I see a cancellation and no emails from posh about a case or anything. My money for this transaction is not in my funds. how does this happen?

@perfumebliss that shouldnt happen...even when a customers card declines, the sale doesnt go through. If there was never a case opened on the item and you delievered it w/ verification they cannot cancel...they can only cancel if you dont deliver within 7 days. I heard some poshers accounts were compromised back in February...might want to change banking info? You def wouldve gotten an email for a dispute! Hacker may be seeing if your money/account is ligit.

I just sold a wedding dress and the buyer received it and opened a claim 😧. I double checked everything. There's nothing wrong with the dress. Now I'm worried and I'm going to get a damaged dress. @kwhitty126 just to follow up for anyone who reads my issue and wants to know what happened. Poshmark told me The order was cancelled due to unverified payment from the buyer. My proceeds were just released. I'm glad I got my money back but I think I'm going to do what some have mentioned which is not sell to new buyers without closets or ratings. This person did not have either and it's just not worth it to deal with this if they're going to take days to figure it out.

@jeaswe I would contact poshmark with photos of how the items came back. Is it possible it happened through the mail? Ask if there's anyway to open an insurance claim with usps. You might be able to get reimbursed or at least poshmark can reimburse you and they deal with insurance. Try to stay positive. That helped me get through this.

Maybe that's a stretch but I think your only recourse is to contact poshmark with photos and plead your case. Point out your track record as a buyer and seller. Provide photos. If they leave you no other choice go to BBB.

@pariscute no what happened to me was I posted a description of the small stain inside the purse I was selling along with a picture. A women bought the bad and said she had no idea about the stain and the bag "smelled weird". Idk how that can be a complaint when the company can't even check that and the bag was one straight from the coach store.

I recently sold a pair of brand new shoes. However, the buyer claimed there were defects and poshmark sided with the buyer and allowed the return. I received my brand new shoes back with damage the buyer caused. I have photos of the exact spot where the damage is now and my previous photos that doesn't have the damage.

Poshmark gave me $15 credit when I didn't ask for it. I'm not even sure what the $15 is for? For them to say sorry, they made a mistake? Every now and then I get a buyer that files a dispute and I don't know why but am asked to provide supporting photos when I don't even have item any longer or what is disputed??? I have over 3000 items listed and a very high rating as a seller. My buyer knows she has no rights so being immature and rude is her way of getting back at me! @supjdubbb Same issue. Sold from a manufacturer who equates a large with an 18-20, so I listed the true size. Photos of the tags with L in my listing but I got no questions from her on the size. I sent PM the size chart from the manufacturer which shows the size I listed as accurate. Now I read remarks here & on the internet that PM sides with the buyer despite evidence. My sale was small & most of my buyers have been great. But, it still sucks to be falsely accused of misrepresentation

I got some plus size stuff on there for dirt cheap until I find folks in need who can use it. I think I am pretty much done with PM myself.

I just got scammed too. I sent a pair of Brand New in the box booties never worn. Buyer never accepted package then right before the monies were to be released to me, buyer filed a claim. Buyer then sent in pictures of her own used booties (seem to be same brand/style but hard to tell from the pics Posh sent me). The pictures are of booties that are Darker than the ones she bought from me and Poshmark has authorized her a return.

I had a buyer report a false claim on a pair of shoes, the claim was approved by poshmark for a return, but today I checked and saw the funds were still released to me? The sale is marked as delivered too. Does anyone know what happened?

@boyghosts I got an email from Poshmark today saying they approved the buyer's return on May 17 but they have no record of her returning it yet. They said if she doesn't return it "soon", I would have the funds released. Maybe that is what happened in your case.

A girl on Poshmark claims I didn't send her the right size and I did because it was the only size I had and it was listed correctly. Poshmark sided with her without even looking at my evidence.

It is now past the return date at the store but it doesn't matter because she still hasn't sent it back a week later! This is such BS and there's no way to contact Poshmark about not receiving a return there's only a way to submit a claim if there is something wrong with the return! What's wrong is it never should have been allowed to be returned and it never even got returned!

There is no phone number for Poshmark you can call to speak to someone about it either. I'm sticking with eBay they protect their sellers because that's who they make money from. And there's always someone to speak to there. Does anyone have a phone number for Poshmark where you can actually speak to a human and not a voicemail??

@bobbi511 did you contact them first about it? They approved someone's return to me on may 15th. It says a label was printed but not shipped. There is no way to submit a return problem without a picture of what was wrong with the return. What's wrong is i never received my return, it was NWT so I've lost a lot of money!

I had this happen to me and poshmark actually did deny the return. I had a buyer purchase a $7 dress and try to return it bc she claims its the wrong shade of brown, but it was exactly as pictured. She filed a claim. I was more annoyed than anything bc i literally answered a ton of questions and modeled the dress for her, all for my peofit of $4.05, are you kidding me? But i was so happy when poshmark sided with me on this because it was so ridiculous.

SMH. Another $3 offer on a $4 item in which I wrote "Firm price if purchasing alone." Countered with the original $4 since PM gave me grief about declining a previous $3 offer. Do people really think we should go through the trouble of wrapping, packing and schlepping it to a mailbox or PO for 5 cents? Anything that's not gone by June 10 is going to the church rummage sale. It is unfair that sellers are rated, but not buyers. I sent someone a perfect blouse and she claims it has a stain in the front. PM sided with her and is sending it back to me, probably destroyed for good. The buyer has no history and no items for sale. There needs to be a list of unscrupulous buyers, and we sellers need to be able to add to that list any buyers we've had to deal with.

There needs to be a page formed where sellers can add the names of buyers who are unethical. If a buyer's name appears on that page, sellers could refuse to sell to them by canceling the sale.

So i sold a women a purse and she filed a claim BEFORE the purse arrived and posh sided with her. They accpeted her return over a week ago and she has yet to return the item to me. I have sent posh an email around a week ago and have yet to hear back from them regarding her never returning the purse to me and telling me she she had the purse. I sold an authentic LV bag to a buyer who opened a claim, said she took it to LV to authenticated and they told her it was not an authentic LV bag. (I purchased the bag 2 yrs prior for $899 from another poshmark seller and Posh Concierge authenticated it and shipped it to me. When buyer opened claim, posh sided with buyer and she returned my bag except, the bag she returned was a completely different bag, different date code, and falling apart, she kept my real bag and rwturned a fake one.

I hope you will keep us updated as well. Today my blouse came back to me in the same condition that I sent it. There was no stain as she claimed. I feel fortunate to have my blouse back undamaged, albeit wrinkled because she just stuffed it in the box. It's beyond belief to read what these buyers have done to you all, and that PM does nothing to protect the sellers. The only comfort is that there are many of us who are in complete sympathy.

I sold a brand new Movado before the holiday weekend at the buyer stated that the Watch is "broken". I literally packaged the box in bubble wrap to make sure it wouldn't get damaged during delivery. @dyndyn The buyer never returned the items, so PM released the funds. I would be leery about selling anything too valuable on PM. Most of my buyers have been decent people, but there are always folks trying to scam. In my case, I didn't accept the buyer's first low ball offer, so I think her little drama was payback. I will probably be packing up most of my stuff to donate in a few days.

I completely stopped selling on here because of my experience and never will again. eBay is so much better and protects me. Ive never had an issue with them in over 10 years!

I'm so glad I found this thread! Does anyone know how many INDs you have to get in order for PM to ban you? I had listed everything about the item and showed many photos and the buyer claimed that my dress had a stain on it. ok seriously if ur mad about people returning ur items that u most likely only took pics of from certain angles so u don't show off a stain, rip, etc then shut up. seriously even if the buyers claim is false.. you still should have sold it at a plado's closet or a garage sale or something ... it was your decision to sell on an app that has untrusted people that you don't know so

@lrferreira poshmark didnt tell me why and i asked where could i send the proof of purchase to and no one ever replied- then the sided with the buyer, then on May 31st they sent her a return label to send my bag back to me- then a couple of days after that she never did, then then they sent another message saying they would automatically release the money-

@lrferreira ast night i sent another message to their reply from my first message of them finally telling me that they agreed it was fake because i sent it in another dust bag instead of an LV one- and im like are you serious??!!! i just didnt want to throw such a nice bag in a box naked- so basically they sided with a seller with no real proof- didnt check to see if the purse was real or anything- then they finally said if i have proof to email it to them

@lrferreira so last night i did but at this point its way past amount of time my money should be release to me for the buyer not ever sending it back.
Here it is 6/8/17 i had sent them 4 more emails asking where is my handbag or my money and they have only responded to the first 2 messages and released my money today- not acknowledging how inconvenienced I have been by some crazy buyer opening a case but never sending my bag back. So at this point i'll never sell anything again.

@rme415 I also have a seller who is claiming item is not as described. Yet I have pictures of the items she was sent and I double checked the sizes to make sure they were correct. I even did her a favor and sent a different shirt then the one she originally bought! So irritating

@smarsett I had a buyer buy a pair of pants from my closet.Brand new/not worn. I inspect my items before they leave and I take the time to package, write thankyous. The buyer accepted the item &wrote thank you so much I love them. days later she change her rating to I'm so mad there is a 5" in hole. I reached out to her cuz this is not true. She fought w/me causing drama on my page saying I'm lying

I think the > 500 comments is proof that there is a real problem with seller protection. This too just happened to me over a blouse. Sent in excellent condition. Buyer opens a case stating unauthentic, without tags. The pictures clearly demonstrate the tags! I sent poshmark photographic evidence when the item was returned to me. No word yet, but buyer was refunded. Anyone can buy from you, then state anything they want, do anything they want to your item and poshmark will refund them.

I am completely on all 500's of you sides. I sent an 100% brand new with tags item in perfect condition, nice packaging and hand written note and a case was opened that it was not as described. It is ridiculous. Does anybody know how long it takes for posh to get back to you about the case? I am so frustrated right now, this sucks.

@oogbebor12 Oh my I having the same issue too about one of my sells. It's under investigation right now/case review but now it's driving me crazy cause really where is the sellers protection. I know that it states to describe stuff thoroughly but those were one of my very first postings and I didn't state whether if it's new or used but you can clearly see imperfections. So as a buyer don't you ask for more photos and questions. So what happened with your issue?

@mbutry this happened to me . Buyer claims that she received dysfunctional sandals. But this it's false report , I was wearing this one time , bought from Nordstrom even still have a receipt . But Poshmark doesn't care about sellers. So I received returns and this is not my sandals , buyer just put dysfunctional sandals . And poshmark return money to buyer , I was trying to contact them about this issue but they don't reply to my emails don't know what to do...

I've had the same issues happen to be twice now. I understand that their are people out there trying to scam people out of money. What about the honest people selling their items here on Poshmark that are clearly getting taken advantage of? How do they complete an investigation on an item claimed to not be authentic when there is a date code, original tag, care booklet and dust cover? I have even emailed Poshmark with a copy of proof of receipt--shocking, they have not responded.

@fitmestiza I agree. My daughter wanted to make some money for the summer. I helped her set up a store under my account. We have sold 4 items and 2 cases were opened. I checked both items myself. One said there was bleeding of colors in the fabric. Another said I sent the wrong item. This is false. I am going to donate all my items to a thrift store that supports women escaping domestic violence. Better use of my time and effort.

PM told me that they have 48 hours to ship the item back. If I don't get the item back they said they would release my funds that I would have made. My question is do they send you the tracking info? Because the buyer blocked me after I asked what was wrong. And I want to be able to track my items and hopefully get them back

I had a buyer get these cute sandals&today on the 3rd day of getting the item she opens a case claiming "not as described" when I have clear images of the shoes on & by itself & listing saying how they fit&how sizing may very and what not. This buyer has NO Purchases ,love notes, shares & little following and followers.I have 50+ love notes( I'm new) & 4.9 rating bc a buyer didn't like the price she paid!I've had a 1 claim in the past bc the girl ordered the wrong size luckily P sided with me😩

This just happened to me. I don't understand. I make sure that the photos of all of my items are crystal clear and I am very honest about sizing. I don't sell stained or damaged items.. if I did, I would say it outright to avoid this exact situation! This is not fair, I am outraged.

this just happened to me today. I sold someone a beautiful new and only worn once dress. the buyer claimed to posh that there was a hole and stains. When it left my possession from a zipped bag in my closet it had none! with some investigating found she had bought the SAME exact dress one size larger for more money from another user a day after.... gave her a five star rating. This buyer just wants to keep the size that fits her and lie that mine had damage. Sellers should be protected too!!!

I just got swindled by a seller who claimed the bracelet I sold her was damaged. Posh approved her bs claim and then sent me a generic email without noting any of my concerns. Posh expects great customer service from us but not themselves. They stole my time, money & good faith while leaving me w/ a damaged bracelet & a stupid IND on my stats. Really?! Buyers should get ratings too like on eBay. I suspect they fear buyers will buy less then. F*** all y'all, Posh.

I'm glad I found this.I'm going through this issue now. I sold a high end bag, posted detailed images & description. The buyer opened a case almost 2 days after she got it, sent PM images w/3 flaws. The one I sent had no flaws, it was brand new. I had a gut feeling because she bought the bag ($394), no questions, offers,bundles & no messages. Simply paid the full price. Odd, esp. that the 'offer' button is so blatant. I sure hope that PM doesn't side w/buyer. She signed up just to buy this bag

@sellagram I just had an issue with a new user who has just signed up! It’s disheartening that PM does not take into account sellers that have been selling for years with no issues and they no questions side with buyers who are clearly trying to game the system.
