Traded several makeup items with her for some of her sigma brushes. Agreed to ship the next day which I did. I posted pic of receipt where I sent hers and it cost almost $9 because package was so heavy. She said she couldn't ship til another day once I told her I had shipped. Claims the package I sent her was empty when she received it and now she won't be sending me mine.

hannahelise @barbie8486 you should be able to. I don't see why not! Get on there now and file a dispute! If she can't provide tracking within a few days (which she won't) they refund the entire amount back. I would also call them!

bnguyen27 @hannahelise her close on PM is empty! I am already skeptical of trading on poshmark and now even more skeptical after finding this out. What's a low life b****h! I was planning to trade her two pairs of jeans and to scam people out of their stuff is so wrong. Did you contact posh about this also what happened afterwards? Sorry for being nosy!

hannahelise @bnguyen27 no I didn't contact posh. Since it was a trade, there is nothing they can do. It wasn't done through them. All you can do is report her closet, but she keeps making new ones because each one gets shut down from her scamming people. I am filing a dispute on her though. My mom is a lawyer

waiwai123 @barbie8486 I read your comment above and unfortunately PP won't help since It was sent as friends and family. Most people who plan on scamming will ask you to send that way! Most people are leery of PP but don't realize their protection program is STRONGER than Poshmark's. however, always ask for a invoice or send money as service&goods that way you will be covered. Most honest sellers will choose to invoice since they also are protected that way....be very leery if they ask for friends and family.

waiwai123 Yes! I had to learn that the hard way also....after that I did research on PP and spoke to customer service and learned their policies! They truly do have a great buyer protection policy! PP is still a great way to do business but just always ask for an invoice. The seller does incur fees but is usually no more than 2%-5% of the selling price which relates to a few dollars....I always suggest that I pay the extra dollar or two to cover the fee just so that I know I'm protected!

misslyndarlin @barbie8486 when someone tells you to pay through friend and family,never do it because PayPal won't do anything about it from what I've been told...Always have them send you an invoice for sure! Sorry she scammed you :(
