@metalpetals Nora not only are u georgous, and you have breath taking art all over your body....you are extremely talented as well! OMG!! I'm in love with these bridal bouquets! I only wish I was lucky enough to have had one when I walked down the isle!! God knows I have the jewelry for it. Lol. So just out of curiosity, how much do these beauties weigh on average? They look like they might weigh a bit. Do u make these to order or do u make these and then the brides purchase what u have on hand? Oh, (sorry for all the questions btw lol) do u prepare the broaches so they can be removed and worn later? Or do u use the jewelry "as is" to make it all fit and look stunning?? These are so fantastic! I've always wanted to ask someone who creates these bouquets, but because I'm not in the market to get married, it always slips my mind to go and look for u. This time I just came across your closet and I made sure to ask!! I look forward to ur message❤️

@sweetpeaphilips Thank you so very much, you are very sweet, and I so appreciate your kind words! I do usually design these bouquets specifically for each bride, depending on her preferences as far as metal color (gold tone or silver tone), and amount of sparkle desired, or pearls, whimsical pieces, etc. Sometimes a bride will have special pieces that she has collected or that have been given to her at what are now being called "brooch parties", where in lieu of other registered gifts, each bridal shower attendant will gift brooches to the bride to be. I do have the rare bride that leaves the deign and color scheme completely up to me, or has a very strict budget, and where I LOVE to design these heirloom pieces, I have some already pre-made, and I can then offer a better price for these bouquets because they have already been made in my spare time, and I don't have to go out "hunting" for specific colors and pieces. Most often, I try to spend lots of time speaking with the bride about her vision for her wedding, her color scheme, what her dress and her bridesmaid's dresses look like, and the over all feel of her wedding, so that the bouquet matches, not only her vision and theme of her wedding, but also suits her personality. Sometimes I even have a bride that has seen these gorgeous bouquets and decides to create her own, only to realize that it is harder than she thought- so she already has all of the components, and just asks that I put it together for her- this i am able to do at a fraction of the cost of a bouquet where I have to search for each piece, and begin from scratch. I try my very hardest to maintain the integrity of each piece of jewelry I use, and I don't use hot glue as some brooch bouquet designers choose to do. I hand wire a "stem" on each pin, or clip earring, etc... and construct the bouquet similar to the way a florist would construct a bouquet of live flowers. Some brides choose to remove special pieces and gift them to her bridesmaids, so in order for the jewelry to still be able to be worn, I am very careful to not damage it in the process of turning it into a bouquet. You are correct in assuming that these bouquets can become quite heavy!!! I carried one of my bouquets on my wedding day- it was an extra large size, and weighed over 16 pounds! Most bouquets of average size probably weigh anywhere between 5-7 pounds. I am grateful for your interest and questions, as I am passionate about these pieces, and love to talk about them (as well as design and create them) I truly put my heart and soul into making the most beautiful, heirloom quality bouquets that my brides will be honored to carry, and possibly even hand down to their daughter(s) someday to carry on their wedding day! I design them to be durable as well as beautiful and I'm confident that the bouquets I create will stand the test of time.
