First time I bought shoes that WEREN'T on sale!! Omg, I've never spent so much on shoes!! But they were awesome, I looked trendy rather than my usual dowdy...and his ex had nothing negative to say about me! (My goal for his sake)... Couldn't make it to the dancing, and turned into a pumpkin early, but it was great while it lasted! :) he's so sweet to stay with a cripple like me!

I have since remarried...and thank goodness, because my wonderful Hubby now maintains the property so I may focus on tending to my flowers 💜 My boys and I kayak and fish in our pond and we all really love it here 💗 I work in downtown Louisville, KY, which is only 20 minutes from my peaceful property 😍

jackiieeee lol! Yes I saw your username and thought to myself "that has to be a hydrologist or hydrogeologist..." I was worried you wouldn't know what I was talking about. There was a chance I would hear "What the hell is a hydrologist?!" So, I never asked. I should have though! Yep, I do marketing for a company called Advanced Land and Water, Inc. We're in the middle of a contract with MDE (Maryland Department of Environment) doing source water protection work. We also do a lot of environmental site assessments, and anything that has to do with helping people find groundwater. Just figured I'd fill you in on what we do 😊 I've worked there for 6 years. I never in a million years thought I'd "talk work" on Poshmark!! It's so cool to find someone who speaks my language though. What state are you in?

hydrogirl @jackiieeee I never thought I would ever talk shop on Posh either, because like you, I thought *pfffft, noone knows what a hydrologist is* LOL You wouldn't believe how many people thought my Hydrogirl username was referencing something completely different than water...LOL I LOVE me some fellow nerds :) Especially, cool nerds that have common sense like you ;) Your job sounds fascinating! I have done a little groundwater modeling in my career, but focus more on Lake Regulations and water surface real time data now :) I used to be an expert in Interior flood hydrology which included groundwater, but I haven't done that modeling for a few years now since taking over lake regulations ;) I love my job..and have been doing it for nearly 25 years...LOL I started when I was 3 years old ;) heehee

My Mom moved up to Dayton, OH when I was about 20 and I followed and stayed here for 8 years, moved back to Louisville for a few years and then moved back up to Dayton again a couple of years ago. haha I have a great job here but would love to come home! I worked at Captain's Quarters for about 5 years. I'm sure you've been there!

I am outside trying to give my iguana 2 hours of sunlight-really it's my 8 yr old sons but I always end up taking care of our family (which includes our pet babes!) had to take him to the doctor yesterday bc to me it looks like he has an abscess in his tooth but the vet says it is some kind of bone condition. Well he is on all kinds of meds and we will see! I really hope he is ok! My son (& I) would be devestated. So that's my story. I hope that your work slows down so u can always b on here😜

I reside in what's known as the Ohio Valley...it's full of pollen and muck...LOL I never suffered from sinus or allergy issues until I moved here. A few times/year I get down with this, as does everyone else that lives in this area. I have been so busy at the office and then by the time I do get home, I've been climbing right into bed..not Poshing much. hydrogirl @reeves95 Just so you know, the Posh app is ONLY Apple friendly, so although you can view the site, and share closets, etc, you cannot make any purchases from a computer..I don't think. The biggest tip I can give you is to Follow everyone you can and share items from their closets. In return they will generally follow you and share your listings. The more followers you have, and the more people sharing your listings, the better chance of you selling your items ;) Also, there are Posh Parties, share your appropriate listings to the parties and that will get you attention too :)

hydrogirl @jefsweetie I'm almost embarassed to post the pics, Katie because it's stupid ridiculous...LOL I am a real bargain shopper and have done too much trading with some pretty amazing Posh gals...LOL I never even owned a Coach Bag until after I joined Posh. I'm way too thrifty to carry Coach...lol and the only reason I have 3 Coach Bags listed was because I was in Indianapolis a few weeks ago for work, and there was an Outlet Mall I stopped at on my drive home...lol I used to never shop either. I used to always be kayaking, camping, playing racquetball, hiking (super outdoor active), but since my injury 2 years ago, I'm very limited and cannot do those activities anymore...so I have now turned into a girly girl of sorts & love shopping...especially on Posh because I LOVE handmedowns, especially for a great price...LOL

hydrogirl @jefsweetie I grew up pretty poor too...heehee I still love thrift shops...go figure...LOL I don't think I told YOU, of all people, what happened to me, because in the big scheme of life, it is really no big deal and not even close to comparing what the heck you have endured. I will tell you because you asked. I fell a couple years ago and really jacked up my dominant right arm, hand & wrist. I've had 3 major reconstructive arm, wrist, hand surgeries, but I still have little use of my extremity and suffer from permanent nerve damage. I'm very grateful to have a career for almost 25 years and I love Colleagues & Bosses, and my Colleagues & Bosses love love me :) They have been right by my side the entire time helping and being understanding if I can't get to work or am late to work. So I am a very fortunate girl :)

You are brave to even think of trying the 4 inch heels, I feel like such a woosy pie next to you. I am just now weeding through my feed and just got to your message here. During a party, you can click on the Host Picks tab and once you enter that showroom, you can see the HPs instantaneously as the Hosts are choosing them. At least, that's how I saw Joanne choosing her HPs so that I could tag them for her😊

I gave the package to the mail man myself here at my door. She is saying it never arrived. I email Posh and they say it was delivered , gave me the tracking number to give to her. They told me to tell her to get in touch with them. She keeps sending me messages that she still hasn't gotten it and I kinda feels like she is harassing me. Her page looks kinda strange also. Just didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring or being a brat..lol I suffered a fall a couple years ago and have endured numerous reconstructive arm/hand surgeries on my dominant arm/hand. I manage real well, but every so often the nerve damage goes haywire and it requires immediate attention so I can continue to function with the rest of society 😍 No big deal, but that's the story when I occasionally go MIA...lol NO PITY PARTIES!!! I am fine 😍

No big deal really, just funny because not only was I stung, apparently one of his tentacles got stuck in my bathing suit bottoms so my whole butt and crotch area were stung..LOL! All better today😍 Last night we went out for a very nice dinner and my Hubby got a piece of steak lodged in his esophagus😝 So, we have spent the last 24hrs in the ER. Surgery went well, but I am wondering...IS THERE ANYONE THAT WILL JUST COME DOWN HERE AND SCOOP ME UP😝😜😝😜 I cannot remember the last time I have dealt with so many dramatic situations at once...lol Also, Internet is sketchy at best where we are staying. I am sharing when I can, but wanted you girls to know, life should be back to normal Friday night...WHEN I GET HOME😱😝 I hope everyone else is having a wonderful and less eventful week😍

I did know that it was a jellyfish sting immediately, but didn't say anything at first, because there are several in our group that are timid if the ocean anyways...lol BUT, when we all got out of the ocean, I realized that tentacle was attached and stuck in my bathing suit bottoms...all bets off...I started groping my crotch trying to get it off. Most of the time they heal up pretty quick, which you probably already know living in Florida. My bum looks like I was scorched with an angel hair pasta...LOL😂

Next time you and hubby are near the waters, you should be in those neoprene scuba suits, scuba boots, gloves and headgear. No jellyfish or sea urchins or stingrays will penetrate those thick layers. But what about sharks- well there are those chain links suits and anti-shark spray that are touted to work. Seriously, I am glad you are all safe! Sometimes, these "distractions" can bring out the best in people and situations! If it was me, I would probably be a nervous wreck! But you handled these inconveniences with grace and aplomb. noyesno777 It's not an in person audit. They want copies of all of my W-2s and all of the details from all of the jobs I worked in 2009, 2010 and 2011. I don't have any of that and I don't remember where I worked and when. I think I had nine different jobs in 2009. They want all of this paperwork filled out and copies mailed to them. The only thing I have is what I can print off of H&R Block website which is just my basic tax information. No W-2s or anything. Ugh.

Unfortunately, the black cloud continued to follow us, because we came home via a ditch😣 I was traveling 65mph and hydroplaned off the expressway. I somehow managed to keep us from flipping or hitting the on coming traffic. Besides my Hubby and I being banged up a little, we are fine😍 Although, I am sure we will both be pretty bruised and sore come morning...lol It may be a couple days before I am back to Poshing 100%, but I promise that I will repay all of you for the kindness you have shown me through this tragic week😍

hydrogirl @manymurrays Shannon...WTF?!?!! You can bet your pretty A$$ that my next vacation will be girls only!!! This was the 2nd accident I've had in 30 years. I was in the center lane, speed limit was 70, but it was raining so I was safely moving at 65mph. When I started to hydroplane into the next lane, I expected my tires to grab pavement and regain control. Nope, we never hit pavement again. My Hubby was screaming, "oh sh*t!!!" And do you know what came out of my mouth as we were getting ready to flip and hit oncoming traffic? I said, "it's ok! It's gonna be ok honey!" So obviously, even when I think I am going to die, I tell everyone else that it's okay...bwahaha!!! elisehunter Well, I didn't have a good week...I got sick again. My immune system must not like me anymore. I got laryngitis and since I was just on antibiotics, my dr gave me strong ones! Messing with my tummy. So it started Monday with just a sore throat and by Tuesday I could barely talk. Our anniversary was spent with a fever and a husband steering clear of me! (At my request). The fever broke this morning but my belly is really cursed. I don't think I'll be able to go to the beach tomorrow (unless something seriously changes) and the surf is up. Maggie learned to surf last year and of course Fred surfs so that's been my weekly outings. Other than to the post office! So, I'd say it sucked but not as bad as your week! (Did I tell you about my hematology consult? Thanks for asking, sweetie!!!

elisehunter Agh, here goes: I had my initial consultation with the hematologist regarding the blood work they did in the hospital. It came back negative so they wanted to do more labs for "more rare blood diseases". He asked about my ancestry and when I told him I am half Turkish, he raised his eyebrows and said "ahhh". To which I said "WHAT?" He said there are rare diseases specific to Italians and Greeks but since Turkey is right there, we need to do a lot of labs. (Great) 😔 This was on a Friday. They took a bunch of blood. Then last Tuesday, the hematologist called to tell me that based on some blood work they did, they need to do more labs and wanted me in the next morning at 7 am! (The Mayo is so busy, they MAIL you your next appointment usually) so this scared the pants off me!!! They took so much blood it collapsed a vein 😰! So I have the ability to look online at all my records and when something is out of normal range, is in red. So I got online and started googling things and got really scared. I'm not a dr so I decided to no longer look!! I have the follow up this coming Thursday morning. My BFF in the neighborhood is going with me (when I went last time the nurse asked if I had anyone with me and it dawned on me that it would have been good to have some support) because Fred has a big job further from his normal work area and he has to finish it that week because there's another big remodeling job the week after (thank God!). So, there it is. I know I've been getting sick because of stress! I just don't know what to do about it. I keep praying and telling myself to "just breathe" but it's not helping really. So there it is. Scary! 😢 I'm trying to be positive but the speed in which they got me back for more blood work doesn't ease my mind, ya know? 😘😘😘. Thanks for listening! I have a question: do you think I should put this under my bio in my closet and tag the people who reached out and gave me such kind words and encouragement? Some of then were nurses...and some just wonderful, beautiful people!! (Like you!). I don't want to appear manipulative. I'm a little "anal" about my closet and share the posting about comments and suggestions and the bio because I want them first when someone comes in, I also put my best stuff first so even when I share to a party I share everything else to my followers so I hope people don't see that as manipulative. And, yeah, I'd like him to be there too but it's not practical....it's the only money we have coming in right now so we can't mess it up. That's the logical side. The emotional me wants to yank him off his work!! But, bless he offers, because he knows his business best, I don't want to put that kind of pressure on him. I've been enough of a burden already. And I know, I know, in health and in sickness, but he'll be there for me. My friend, Stephanie, who lives in the neighborhood...we met the one day we went to the pool when my BFF (since the 8th grade) came to stay with me right after the stroke...she told Jane she'd take care of me and she has. She's constantly checking in, going to the pool with me, took me to breakfast, has gotten groceries, etc.... She's the best and I think she's better able to deal with something bad, on the spot, since Fred gets really upset when I cry...he explained it like this once "the love of my life is crying and there's nothing I can do to take the pain away. It physically makes me sick". So I know he'll be there for me. I also know Steph has been through so much that she's better equipped on the spot. Women are strong....ya know? I am doing great :) Bruises are almost gone :) After seeing my vehicle on Tuesday, I am just so grateful my Hubby and I came away in such great shape :) When noone was looking, and I was transferring my stuff from my totaled vehicle to my new vehicle, I gave my old vehicle a kiss and hug and thanked her for being so good to me for so many years and for getting us through the accident AND home safely! It was a miracle, because she is absolutely undriveable and is being parted out. I am not accustomed to the luxury of my 2011 Ford Edge, but I have a funny feeling, it won't take me long...LOL How are you doing??? I have been so out of touch for the past couple weeks :(

hydrogirl @lynnsimmons BWAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU just made me LAUGH OUT LOUD at work!!! "I'm surprised the children have turned out so well" AHAHAHAH!!! I have said very similar things before too!!! My boys are now teenagers, but we have a running joke...when they were growing up and would start acting up I would tease them and tell them that I grew up in the projects and it's not a very nice place to be, especially at nighttime. So every so often they would start and I would say, "Hey, where is Mommy dropping you off at midnight if you don't change that attitude" and they would say, "The Projects". One day at my office, one of the superiors told my boys, "You boys are the most well behaved young men I have ever met" and my 4 yr old at the time said, "That is becauwse we don't want Mommy to dwop us off at de Pwojecks at Midmight"...ahahaha! Well, my boys are now teens and we still say that...LOL

I told my older son when he was younger that he had a brother named "George" who didn't make it because he didn't listen to mommy! I know, it sounds horrible but it was a joke until my son told my younger son about it, who turned around and told everyone we ran into that his brother was killed for not listening to mommy!! My boys are 12 and 9 and they still joke about George and how mean I was to tell them that!

blackcherry7 Awww I know that feeling!! I've given hugs and kisses to my smashed cars too! Well yours definitely deserved it after saving u guys from injuries! Thank God u were all okay! It always takes me a while to get over my accidents. In my last accident a car came from the right side as my car was crossing an intersection.. He totally ran a red not knowing there was even a traffic signal there! So now I get scared every time I cross an intersection when I see a car coming from the right. Even though I know they'll stop, I still hesitate. It's been 3 years since the accident and I still feel traumatized 😞 But on a lighter note, so glad to hear u, hubby and granny are all doing well! Hope your boys and doggies are doing well also! How's car shopping coming along? 😊

hydrogirl @blackcherry7 Oh My Gosh!!! I think if I was side swiped at an intersection, I probably wouldn't ever be able to drive again!!! We sure do put alot of faith in strangers driving 2 ton vehicles...lol I know what you mean though! I have nearly given myself a panic attack driving to and from work this week...ahahaha! Luckily, I got my hands on a 2011 Ford Edge at a really good price as a replacement. I have never ridden in such luxury, but I am sure I will always love my totaled SUV the most. I didn't let my boys or family see my totaled vehicle because they would have been very upset...lol I am just grateful that both of my boys weren't with us and that they are both doing great! The dogs are good too :) I keep thinking that the drama should all stop soon, but I don't dare say that out loud...ahahaha!

camposcc My posh life will be slowing down! I'm going on another vacation next week and when I return I need to rest and run. rest and run. rest and run! My marathon is coming up around the corner and sometimes I'm up too late on posh that I'm too tired the next day =( so i will need like a month allowance of sharing slowness! How are you doing? The Louisville Slugger Plant, Churchill Downs, etc😍 I would love that😍 I take for granted all of my cool Louisville surroundings sometimes. Of course, I would have to tell my Hubby that you and I are childhood friends, because he would think I had lost my mind... Maybe you SHOULD plan a trip here... tkimber7084 @hydrogirl yep Sallysue I have had two major surgeries in the last five months. My bowel died and perforated. I lost 75% of my intestines. My bowel/colon too of course. My stomach is now the size of a large egg and I had my 2nd surgery this past August 30th.

tkimber7084 @hydrogirl so anyway sorry TMI prolly. Anyway I am slowly mending. Going to the hospital a couple of times a week. But I am slowly wading through my closets and pulling out the " I can't wear this any more's. It gives me something to do that gets me out of bed and a bit active. Plus I meet wonderful ppl such as yourself ✨ it's a win win. I am told that by next spring I should be pretty well on my way to being recovered and healed. I am just happy to be at home with my wonderful amazing husband and our dogs, cat , and bird joe. There is nothing in the world like my very own pillow. And all of my family. I was kept in a coma and in the ICU for almost two weeks and told by my nurses that I had my husband, sons, and amazing daughter At my bedside for the entire time. My daughter has four young children herself but I was told she was there everyday and several days around the clock. She made sure the grandchildren ( who are so precious to me ) drew me pics and cards and my second granddaughter gave me a " bad times bear " saying he is there for the bad times until you are better and happy again. She is ten!! And now I have poshmark to keep me going and giving me a purpose. And I will have four grandchildren here for this up coming weekend. Between my husband and the older ones that can care for the younger ones we should have a precious sleepover for one night. I am so excited! Just happy to be alive!!! Ya know. I was told I died twice. Thank heaven and my family!!! And thanks again to you Sallysue my friend 💐🌟you are my northern star thank you. 🍁🍁🎃👻

Some of the jewelry I have listed is 18k gold plated and other pieces it have listed are solid sterling silver and stamped 925😍 Elements means that the crystals are Swarovski crystals, but not made by the Swarovski company. Some of my pieces are Australian Crystal. I am glad you asked because I wouldn't want there to be any confusion 😍

hydrogirl @ericaizzo Because it's against Posh Rules. Posh doesn't get their 20% of the sale if you use Paypal. And, it's a good way to get scammed😣 There are a lot of gals that will go through PP, and have issues with their transactions, and then try to have Posh resolve the issue. Posh will not resolve any PP transactions.

vivacouture @hydrogirl hi Sally be careful with the nylon messenger or the nylon ones with out guaranteed authenticity . I know for a fact those replicas made really well years ago and came with the cards and honestly looked so real. I don't know about this one I can't say it's not real but ... Well if they don't know then it is a risk. The Prada wallet is an older model and I would ask for better pictures in lighting where you can see any markings but again it's hard with the older models because the replica market is rampant !

I have had people tell me chanel bags are authentic and the price is too good to be true but I have passed because I like to go with my instincts alittle. You just never know! I am glad to help anytime ! I wish I had my Prada hobo that I sold ! It was in excellent condition too and you can look at it in the bottom of my sold listings . On the fourth day or so, I saw her comment on one of my items so I inquired and she resounded with "so you're the posh police!" That's the only time I've ever heard that expression. Where is this? Who said it? Just the facts ma'am. LOL. I wouldn't worry about it. You follow the rules, so its probably just someone thinking they're being cute. Be funny if it was the same gal tho! If it is run for the hills!!!😻🐾

Who wrote it? I recently had someone who has never commented , liked ,shared or shopped with me write on my Valentino shoe listing that I am a scammer and not to shop with me !!! They don't have a closet and I was appalled that someone would write that !! But you find alot of loose canons on this site @camposcc @moonbunnytoo . I blocked her non closet !!
