olivia1195 I'm worried about it because my fiancé and many of his friends suffer through months, even years away from their families and the comfort of home risking their lives you a bunch of unappreciative, disrespectful idiots. Also I read an article about undercover government officials buying military equipment and uniforms on sites like this. I read on a government site that this is, in fact illegal. If you're too selfish to take it down out of respect for military members, you should at least do it for your own well-being.

planetkaii I didn't ask for you to respect me. I made a general statement not directed towards you but towards whomever cut the ACUs up. That act in itself is offensive to me, as a soldier knowing my brothers and sisters in arms sacrifice all we have to wear that uniform and civilians wear it as a fashion statement. On a side note, being a part of legal ops, I can confirm that wearing these is in fact illegal, however I'm not the fashion police. Don't be so defensive, not everyone is trying to attack you.

Ppl buy army wallets that are made & purses all the time. You're just making a big deal out of it. My oldest brother is in the army ! planetkaii I understand where you're coming from. There are stores on base that sell shorts, purses, wallets, etc. with the ACU print, and yes that is ok and perfectly legal. What I'm trying to say is, these pants are the ACTUAL government issue uniform. That's what makes this illegal. That's great that your brother is serving. Not everyone gets offended by these things. Personally, being trained in military law, I am offended. But like I said, I'm not the fashion police. Carry on, God bless.
