For curvier ladies, I would do newer Miss me's... they make an Easy Boot that is fuller through the hips and thigh...also straight legged stretch jeans look FAB on a girl with curves!! Another one to consider is Joes Honey Fit...these are GORGEOUS!!

They're an easy fit so although the size chart suggests 29 I think you could go either way depending on how you like your shorts to fit...they are 98% cotton and 2% Elastane so they have the perfect amount of stretch to flatter your figure without sagging by he end of the day!

The best way I feel is to manually measure hips, waist, upper thigh and rise to ensure a perfect fit! Starting last year Miss Me started making midrise jeans... I have several styles in my closet!

I just bought a pair of BKE jeans in a 31 & they fit my waist but the thigh area are so stinking tight also I don't understand why the jeans don't cover my bum lol they sit real low at the hips and part of my bum shows. Weird I know. You seem like you know your jeans, so that's why I came to you?! Can you help me figure out what rises and such to lookout for. Thanks doll💕

In comparison BKE are cut for a younger girls build in my opinion...they are slimmer in the hips and thighs and overall run about a size small in comparison to Miss Me. They are also very low rise...making "peeking bums" a problem. lol

erikagannon @jonimendoza The second pic is a Miss Me conversion chart...like I said that is a great place to start. I find the best way to purchase without trying on is to manually measure. I am happy to do that with any pair. Waist, Hips, upper thigh, rise, and inseam. Compare to the measurements of your fave jeans or pants or your own measurements! Then we know we have found the right pair for you!!

advopharmacista @erikagannon OMGoodness So cool! I interviewed with Pfizer and a smaller company they bought for R&D for intravitreal injection for macular degeneration, Macugen. I was living in Queens and finishing up RX school. I interviewed in Manhattan, was offered job but it was in NJ. 😕. (like 3 hr commute) I turned down probably the best opportunity of my life. Now I've been in Retail for 12 years (so over it and defeated) and dying to get into Pharma. I love chemistry!! What is your typical day like?

erikagannon @advopharmacista Oh no way I could have handled a 3hr commute either!! We manufacture vaccines at the plant where I work in NC. I work mostly in the lab~bringing in new methods to test new products, and quality testing the products we are in campaign for at any given time. I've been here 13 years and I love it - I am a total chemistry nerd so it suits me well :P

advopharmacista @erikagannon wow your job sounds amazing!! Making strides in the lab is probably so fulfilling! I have only retail experience, I know certain sectors of Pharma will train as long as you are willing to do so. Or if the applicatant has connections they will make an exception. I hate feeling stuck in retail but I really need to get out.

Do you have any connections/pull for a desperate mom of two? LOL Retail is consolidating so bad we are struggling for jobs. Ten yrs ago we called the shots, named price, vacay etc. Very sad the health professions.

I made a 2nd closet of my first closet name (kinda of) ending in "kids" that I'm going to fill up with kids clothes. I feel like it clutters and lessens the shopping experience. azurebluecanary I wonder about this Miss Me size conversion. The 34s I found in the consignment shop fit but there's no way I wear 17/18. 🤔 In US misses size I wear 14. I started with trying on a 28 and there was no way. 😭 BK (before kids) I was A 9/10. 😎

erikagannon @kimfaris25 the best bet is to measure yourself or favorite pair of jeans in the waist, hips, upper thigh, and rise and I am happy to do the same for any pair for you! The 2nd photo has a handy size conversion chart...but measurements are a surer thing!
