Closet Mission

My daughter graduates next year. While cleaning out our closets, I am using the money towards her debt. She is determined to pay it off herself but the stress of trying to find a job after graduation is more than enough, the debt will only intensify it. So, I want to reduce the stress by reducing the debt. What can I say? I am just being a mom.....๐ Thanks for your support!!!

So wonderful of you! I will def try to help with shares! I also def can understand, with both undergrad & grad school loans of my own. But the Ed is def worth every penny (at least that's what I tell myself every time I write those checks!) ๐

pgoldston
@storyofmydress you are right so keep telling urself and writing checks! Thanks for your wonderful shares! My daughter is a double major in education and anthropology at Brandeis University in Boston area. She loves it and loves the snow (vs San Antonio heat).

Oh my little brother is a senior at Tufts! Just working on booking our flight to Boston this May for his graduation. Crazy that she loves the snow. I went to grad school in Michigan and those winters were crazy! Def love me some California sunshine (although I'm from orig Seattle, so I also love the rain) . My BF is also originally from Texas. What a great double major - I minored in Anthro in undergrad ๐

U are honestly the best mama ever!! ๐๐๐I'm sure Taylor is so appreciative of everything u do for her. I get so anxious thinking about putting three kids thru college. ๐ฃ And I love that it's a secret!! ๐ Gotta make sure she doesn't get on posh then, huh? Might be a good thing. Keep her head in the books and not in this app like all of us!! ๐

๐ what a great mom!!! I have a great mom who is walkways telling (and helping) me pay off the loans with the highest interest rates first.
Good luck!!!

pgoldston
@kellyp89 awh thank you! Your mom is right!!! My daughter is getting loan from same source so I am going with the oldest one first and paying interest on other ones in the meantime so she only have the loan amount to deal with ๐ thanks for dropping a line and good luck to you!
