blustarr Sorry, entered too soon. My second "curiosity" is whether r not any #Poshsisters have given this a whirl!? I would not HESITATE; I recently saw an online women's clothing boutique offering "lovely clothes f all sizes to , literally RENT, as often as you like , one outfit after another, provided one is returned before they mail the next. The "joiners fee " was steeper than I liked, but DRY cleaning alone would be WAY up there. Anyway...I wish you all the Luck in the world with your brilliance and will watch and visit often and SHARE constantly to get it really rolling for you ! XO, @blustarr *

corporatebarbie @blustarr thanks so much for checking out my closet! I just joined Posh a couple of months ago, but started buying and selling on another site last November. I quickly realized how many of my purchases became listings because either 1. They didn't fit or look good on me or 2. I only wore them a couple of times and was ready to move on. I have always had this "clothing rental" idea in the back if my head, but never really thought it through. One of my favorite sellers @carenhem had offered me the option to try something on and trade it in if it didn't work for me. She did that because I was already an established customer, and I loved it!! So I came up with a way to offer it to everyone, at no risk to me, and with very little risk for buyers. Worst case scenario, they lose a few bucks trying something on. No one has requested an exchange yet, but I have had at least one buyer make a purchase knowing this is an option. I did not run it by PM, but I imagine they would be fully supportive, since they would be facilitating each transaction. And making money on each of my sales. I think it's a win win win. Definitely try it out in your own closet if you want. I would buy more from other buyers if they offered this!

I have one exchange in process, so @drewfiona can tell you if she was happy with her experience after she uses her credit. Feel free to do the same in your closet!!

kerensae That's great to hear! I always have trouble selling the higher end items, so I just haven't listed them as I hate low balling and feeling like I need to drop prices when I feel they are reasonable. Then start building your followers. The more people you follow, the more with follow you back. Search for follow games and follow the instructions there. Then share, share, share. Your own items and others'.

I love the flat lays. $.99 shipping is offered to anyone who likes your item for one hour after you drop the price 10% below your lowest previously listed price. So it only works if you already have an interested buyer, so you can tell them to like the listing before you drop the price. Or if you have a listing with lots of likes as a sale notification. Hope that helps!

corporatebarbie @xang3lx Hi Charlotte. Unlike other consignment apps, Poshmark really emphasizes the social aspect of it. The more you share, your own items and others, the more visibility you will get. Now that you have several listings up in your closet, you will want to build followers. Follow as many people as you can, most will follow you back. Then share, share, share.

corporatebarbie @lauras_boutique thanks so much. You are so sweet! The best luck I have had is through flash sales, noting when an item is on clearance or specifying that it is the lowest price. Whatever you decide though, make a post in advance advertising your sale and when it is going to start. Encourage people to like your items now so they will be notified when the prices drop. You have to reduce by at least 10% for them to be notified.
