deemd14 there are at least a dozen usernames that i see that ONLY like things, NEVER share. there are two specifically that like no less than 15 items in my closet. and it just gets annoying everytime i see them like something else because i know they have zero interest in buying. i just havent figured out a nice way to ask them to please stop! am i missing something......does "liking" thousands of things get you more exposure? i mean i guess it makes people look at your closet. i am about to block them though sadly :( (ps...they are also the ones who ask "interested?" everytime someone likes an item of theirs. annoying!) ok rant over :) lol

myin2828 @deemd14 Hi Deanna! I know right?! It is pretty annoying. It gets my hopes up🙌, but they have no interest in buying😖. When they 💜 the listing, it does not go to the feed. Their 💜 listings will be in their Like Folder. I use to leave them a message/comment saying thank them for the like and lmk if they have any questions. But no response back. So after soooo many of these incidents, I made this post to hopefully ppl will know that liking💜 an item is not the same as sharing to the feed. Now, when they like 💜 the posts, i just let them be. No comments nothing.

mauishopgirl I think it's great to understand the difference but no one should feel uncomfortable "liking" an item and not purchasing. There are many reasons for wanting to save an item in your likes (to share when hosting a party, an inspiring cover shot, to remember that item so you can look for it in your size or to save for later when you are in the process of losing weight). I sometimes even like to remember a closet I love so I remember to go back. No one should be offended because someone likes many of your listings. It is a compliment, not every like has to convert to a sale.

myin2828 @mauishopgirl Hi Tania, thank you for your great feedback ^_^. Yes, poshers have their right to "like" as many as they like. In my closet, I will not ask "are you interested?" because as you said they have their reasons to liking the items. but i believe many are confuse b/c many have thought the "heart/like" is like Facebook or like Threadflip which will go to the Feed if you click on it. Unfortunately the "heart/like" does not function that way in Poshmark. So this was my main purpose to help posher to clarify and hopefully help them gain more followers by sharing each other's closets and hopefully make some sales ^_^. Poshers have been great in helping me tho...i "Like" when i have an interest in buying, but i cant always afford to purchase at that time. I didnt know that ir meant i was gonna buy! I wanted it in my closet so i wouldnt lose where i found it. How can i get it back again if i dont store it in likes?...and i started sharing when i first started but does that go ti ALL my followers?? Some posted that one of her followers told her she didnt want her to "share" anymore posts cuz it annoyed her. So thats when i quit cuz i didnt wanna annoy anyone....is there a post or something that newbies go to when starting to learn everything? Ive asked but no one seems to know where. HELP!

You like the item so you can go back to that particular closet and shop. What I usually do is I click "like" and leave a message for the buyers that I'm saving this in my like folder for the time being. That way they won't pestering you ^_^. We posher here love love love to share each others closets because that is the only best way to get your closet expose. I don't understand why that particular posher doesn't want ppl to share her closet. That is really weird. When I began Poshmark, I went through the Guid to Poshmark, What is Poshmark, and FAQ page and read all the info. You can find those by clicking your username, scroll down the page, and you'll find those helpful pages ^_^. And like you, I learn as I go. I was lucky to find good poshers that gave me guidance, support, and love through my little steps as a beginner. And after getting use to it, I was enjoying making new friends here, making sales, and gaining many great experiences. myin2828 @amandaj82 oh yup, i've seen that..of the culprits you've mentioned, one of them is back doing the list of liking again. it is really frustrated bring hopes of sales, but since i know this culprit, i just ignore her since i know she's not going to buy or have any interest at all. well, after poshmark has added the accumulation # of liking, it's looks good that so many ppl like a particular item.. so i just let her be ^_^. don't let them bother you. just simply ignore them. hope you feel better sweet PFF ^_^

lakeforest Lol, yup who in the world is this "stylzoo"?? I'm a big advocate of sharing but this person has taken "likes" to a whole other level, lol!! @hopesparkles I know right? I specifically like something for the intent of keeping it in My Likes file in case I decide in the future I'd like to buy it if it's still available😊 and about once a week I'll go through all my likes and sometimes I'll go ahead and buy something💝😉 Great thread here explaining the difference! You can kindly tag them on one of your likes "Thank you for the likes. Lmk if you would like me to bundle your likes or if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting my closet." if they don't answer back within 24-48hrs, more likely they will not buy :-(. If you see that person repetitively liking the items, I just tend to not ask anymore and just let them be ^_^.

No infection though right? If you guys were here i would have given you guys some chinese ointment that helps with deep cuts. My husband once pushed his finger into the garbage not knowing a broken bowl was there and he totally cut it to the bone.

myin2828 @dollface86 literally you can see his bone. We were afraid that the blood wont stop and might damage his nerve. His dad gave him the chinese ointment and had it wrapped up really well because any movement he will bleed like crazy. Anyways, his finger is saved✌😀. My finger is all better after couple of the herbal patches✌😀. Thanks PFF.. 😘😘😘. Get some rest and enjoy your night 💞💖

dollface86 @myin2828 oh gosh Pff that's exactly what happened with my hubby 😳u couldn't see the bone, but it was pretty deep. The doct said it would take awhile to heel and told us that if it didn't in s few more weeks to come back, but yeah it was just bleeding so much non-stop it was really scary 😳I'm glad ur finger is healed l, & that you have those great ointments 🙏🙏🙏btw I wanted to ask my sis isn't a smoker,

myin2828 @dollface86 does your sis has asthma? If you dont mind, may i ask what medicine she takes? My sis has that problem when she was young and back then in china my dad made her some alligator soup. She drank a lot of those soup though. But here, you cant get this. Do you guys have a reliable herbalist at your area? If so, she should go and ck the dr out. Meanwhile, i will ask my IL but might need more details from you about your sis. You can email😊.

dollface86 Alligator soup sounds so exotic! 😄🐊 her condition is extremely rare one they don't exactly know what's wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's an autoimmune one. She take prednisone right now, but it's really hard on her body. Unfortunately we don't have one in out area so she travels a lot to see different ones. It's frustrating, but I'll send an email with more details thanks Pff 😘😘 I also want to send a pic of our finished room! But my hubby is home & keeps making it messy lol 😂😂

myin2828 @vixen676 Hi Kristin! What I usually do is that I shared 3 of their items and thank them for the likes. Welcome her to Poshmark and let her know some rules of sharing to get more followers and ppl will share back. and you can also tag her to this post to let her know about the difference of likes and shares :) I hope this help :)

acarlson1003 @myin2828 I share 3 items then like 3 different items that I can continue to return to and share especially for parties. I keep them in my likes folder so I can go back to them. What is super annoying to me is the "r uinterested?"and tagging everyone who likes your listing.. a LIKE IS NOT A SALE.
