I make diaper cakes and love creating special gifts for mamas and baby! These are a few of my creations. Mostly I make for friends and coworkers, or am hired by friends of friends. We are all creative in our own ways...I can't sew my own clothing or make awesome jewelry but I can do diapers lol 👶 I hope y'all enjoy!

abstractdreams Thx for asking. The new doc who did my third surgery finally got me back in one piece!! I got the ok to start rehab less than two weeks post-op! So, I'm still having a fair amount of pain, but it's different...better. Does that make sense? Lol! I'm hoping to be driving again in a few weeks. Then I'll meet up with any of the interested✋Posher's & start brainstorming for the get together this Fall!👍 hope you're well.

deemd14 oh i have GI issues. took 2 years to diagnose a gall bladder that needed to be removed and now ive had complications since the surgery. they just cant figure it out, tell me "all your tests are normal", but you just KNOW when something is wrong with you. so im marching on until someone listens to me. i need to make new cards, but that would be great! when i make some new ones up ill make sure to get some to you, thanks!!! and not so much..... a few photos were posted. didnt see much on the FB page. but the girls looked great and seemed that they had fun. we will just have to make ours better ;) lol

deemd14 @jessicaszoke thanks Jessica! They're actually really easy! The diapers are the easy part. It's the creative designing and attaching the items that takes time and work. There are tutorials all over YouTube. I went to a baby expo when my best friend was expecting and we saw them for the first time. I decided to make some for her shower and been doing them 7 years now. I like personalizing them best. Making them special for each mama to match their personalities. Try it out! 😘

deemd14 thank you so much Candace! @mommyc I try to work within someones price range, but everything I use is high end (no $1 store items ever!) and the time it takes to search for specific themes, I factor into price. They average about $175-$225 for a 3 tier cake. the very first one with the elephant topper, i did for my sister in laws shower. the materials alone cost me $150, and that doesnt include time or labor. so i dont make much profit, but i love doing them :) I really appreciate you admiring them!

mommyc Oh wow! I bet it does get pricey! They r supper cute! I've never seen them done with such cuteness & quality. Usually they look cheesy but these r amazing! My neighbors having a girl.shes due n 2weeks on my bday 😀 I would luv to buy one as a gift for her but I don't like my neighbor that much tho.lololol hehehe I'm not mean,she's just not that nice.Really! U should def consider Etsy or Some site tho!! How many diapers does it take to make them? Just curious.Looks Huge!

deemd14 @mommyc thank you! that seriously made my day! :) i feel the same way (not to sound like a jerk, but ive seen some bad ones being sold for a lot) and i really try to make sure to put in the extra time and effort to make everything perfect. and i do them the same no matter if i am making it as a personal gift or if i make one for a paying customer. this is a 3 tier and has about 180-200 diapers (pampers swaddlers size 1). anyone who has kids knows thats about $50 alone! i would never give anyone anything i wouldnt use for myself, its a standard i hold myself to. ive been thinking about etsy and looked at the "competition", and i really am considering it. thank you SO SO MUCH for your kind words. you brightened my day!

mommyc Wow! I never would have thought it would b that many! Awesome to have tho..when I was pregnant with my 1st child my mom & dad held a diaper run for me..where all the bikers bring a pack of diapers. I had a room full of diapers! I didn't buy diapers for a yr! It saved my tail! I was a single mom! So 200 diapers is def a blessing to a mom! Best of luck to u!

omybunny You are so welcome. I have seen these made with handmade items like crocheted or knitted baby blankets, booties, caps and bibs, but I haven't made one yet. I have enough baby items already made, but no baby to give it to :-( we could make a monster cake together! LOL!

deenanelson Ok so I looked at the first picture and was wondering how does she get these cakes to look like cloth and then after looking at the others I realized you had made the cloth look like cake.
