lillylover123 @luvandy46 you're going to make me cry! My rescue pulls from the highest volume kill shelter in Louisiana and the feeling I get when I save a baby from death row is truly amazing. Whether it be helping to raise funds, transporting them, or even fostering! Rescues ALWAYS need more volunteers, even for the little things 😊

lillylover123 @jinners thank you so much! I have two personals and usually always have a foster in my home as well :) I loveeee animals! I mainly stick to helping dogs from the shelter though because I'm highly allergic to cats :(

kait624 Bless your heart! I thoroughly believe in rescuing animals from shelters. Ive got alot of my animals thru out the years from various shelters. U are an amazing person for doing this! Cheers to u!!!! I am an animal lover...specifically cats. If I could rescue every cat from every kill shelter I would...but thats not humanly possible.

princessm19 I've had 7 dogs in my life & they've all came from shelters that rescue them from being put down. So happy to meet someone who's committed to that! Hope you raise a lot of money for the cause, it's an amazing thing. I also hope you save many animals & put them in loving homes like they deserve! I love & adore my dogs, my dogs are my babies. 💕

lillylover123 @princessm19 I have tried to keep track on the number of animals that I've saved but it's too many to count! This is a stressful thing to do and there are always more that need saving but knowing I can't even keep track of the ones I've helped is what puts me to sleep at night 😊

kait624 Animal abuse and neglect make me so angry. I totally understand what u mean about the human race...its very sad! Im gonna be on the hunt for a new cat to rescue as soon as I get over my Fatty being put to sleep. Its not gonna be any time soon...I gotta let my heart heal first. I already have 2 kittens I rescued from my farm...our farm dog was trying to kill them. I literally had to clobber the dog and pry the kitten out of his mouth. But I miss have a big lazy adult house cat to cuddle and love on. My kittens arent cuddly and hate to be held lol. But non the less I love them and am glad to have them as part of our little family.

princessm19 Of course, you deserve to be applauded for what you do. It's such a selfless & beautiful thing. My second dog came from a very abusive family so he was very scared and twitchy, but turned into such a beautiful boy. I as well, sometimes hate the human race. They can be so hateful & judge mental. Like with many different breeds, people hate them & are terrified of them due to horrific owners. It's all about how you raise your pets! Gets me worked up, no one thinks to give them a chance. I'm a full blown dog lover, my first birthday present was a puppy I picked out & ever since, been a dog girl😊💗

lillylover123 @princessm19 oh goodness yes! I cannot stress to people enough that although some animals may appear broken and fragile, they can easily be brought back to livelihood with some love and support! I've watched many dogs transform in a matter of DAYS after taking them into my home! It's absolutely amazing how untrusting and terrified a dog can be and then after some much needed kindness and patience, they're a completely different animal💜

converseshoe101 Yay rescues!! :D I just adopted a husky from one such rescue that pulls dogs from high kill shelters. If I didn't live in a small apartment I'd love to save more! (And yay for being a recent college grad with a job, I'm also one but unfortunately may be losing my job due to budget cuts :( )

lovecats13 Hi there, I just randomly came across your animal logo and wanted to say a great big thank you from another rescue animal lover (I am a cat-loving girl but all homeless pets deserve love and a chance at having a family). I think it's amazing that you are getting the message out there and helping to improve life for animals without families to adore them:). I hope you have a ton of success with your posh stuff and your animal rescue efforts. :) PS-We're fortunate enough to have a fantastic no-kill SPCA locally as well as several other area rescues that are no-kill, but I have lived in places further south where it was a death sentence to surrender a found animal (how we acquired extra furry family members before moving away). I can only hope that no-kill options are everywhere in the not-too-distant future. Hugs and support for all you are doing.

lillylover123 @lovecats13 awe you made me tear up! Thanks so much for your appreciation💜 I truly work my butt off for these babies and never expect to hear anything from it. I get my fair share of thank-yous in the form of slobbery kisses and sweet eyes 😍 but hearing the occasional appreciation from human beings is pretty great too! There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears in the animal rescue world but I tell everyone that I meet who feels compelled to do it that they should absolutely give it a chance. It's SO important to keep going when things get tough. That goes for everything in life but especially animal rescue because these babies need the help of humans💜

kittycafetoo I have a huge habit of taking in animals in need of rescue too. Most I will care for until healthy, take to the vet, than find a home for them but my pig and dog have stayed with us. Lol. And my step daughter just moved out with one of the cats I rescued. I just can't help it. I have a love for animals too!
