UPDATE: 2/22/22 was the hardest day for my husband and I. Due to Rockos age (13, would have been 14 on March 13th) & we think liver failure, we had to lay him to rest. He laid his head on mommas chest the whole time. We miss him SO MUCH. πππΆπ

Awwe hes soo cute. My hubby and i will be adding a new member to our lil family. Ares. This wednesday he will be coming to his new home with us. My teen boys are soo excited. Any advice would be so appreciated. We have had puppies before but not this small. Again your yorkie is soo adorable.

@pc2ac thank you!! my main advice would be to never give them rawhides! they have horrible trachea problems because it's so small. Also, if you don't want toys torn apart and all over the place i would invest in nylabones.. they sell them at pet smart && are amazing! rocko has only had two his whole life and he will be 7 in March :) he's full of energy too.. some yorkies are calm and mellow.. not him!! lol

My mom has a Yorkie her name is Stella. She is 13 yrs and very smart. The sad thing is she got Diabetus about 5 months ago, and the vets down in Brownsville Texas was giving my mom some insulin to give to her, and it was not enough, it made poor Stella go blind. Thank goodness for a friend of my moms that knows a doctor over in Matamoros Mexico. She has learned to maneuver around with her blindness, she's not in any pain. your baby Yorkie is a cutie!

I was reading some of the comments and you mentioned rawhide. I don't give my little Boston Terrier any kind of rawhide they get gummy and choke him. I give him gold fish for treats, because I don't know what they put in the dog treats. I'm also very picky about his dog food I don't buy any dog food that says corn and by-products. if it is an all natural he doesn't get it. Blue Buffalo dog food. a little pricey but then our little furry friends or family members and their worth it! ππΆπ

@rhondamurr awe whoa! that baby has lived a long and great life! :) Rocko is so hyper you would think he's a baby still. he eats science diet && plays with nylabones.. snacks are puparoni and lunch meat when given his allergy meds

Hey question? How much does your baby weigh? Ours is just over a year old and weighs 8.2 oz but she is long and thin not short and stout like most Yorkies I've seen. She is pure bread aka registered but the breeders gave us the impression that she would be smaller.

No they said the dad was 4 pounds and the mom was 8. But she just has more of a chihuahua body. It's strange. We love her to death but we kinda expected her to be a bit smaller and more short and stout. But she defiantly is a Yorkie. She has the attitude and the super cool personality like Yorkies do. π thanks.

My vet prescribed hydrocodone for my baby. It helped him for around 6 months with the wheezing. I will pray that your baby will be with you for a long time to come!!
