When I first started I would look at other Posher's closest for examples. Unfortunately not all closets follow rules, so above are a couple of my go to closets for tips and advice.
Not understanding the rules, will not only put you risk for having your account deleted, you won't have a chance at a HP or obtaining a suggested seller status. Of course I am happy to answer any questions you may have too! π Happy Poshingπ

It is suggested not to list men's & children's clothing, but not prohibited. Your account will not be deleted for listing these items. Poshmark just prefers that we not clutter the site with them because it was set up for women's fashion. Thanks for putting this here though! Great idea!

Not to argue but if you look at @katz2 post on what not to sell, she has a letter from Posh stating they do not condone the sell of Men's and Children's clothing. My understanding is that while your account may not be deleted from it, you may loose the opportunity for an HP, suggested seller, and other poshers following /sharing your closet and well it's just good closet karma πKatz2, am I miss understanding this? Thank you

@lauriechris The email from Posh is accurate, no menswear, no children's clothing. If you go to the FAQS under What Can I Sell on Poshmark, the first sentence says it all. When in double, contact Poshmark Support.

is there a way to organize your closet by category ? As I look at other closets they seem to be organized. I have read some of you advise and find it extremely helpful so thank you :)

@uniqboutk hi Kelly! Welcome to posh! To answer your question there is no particular way to organize (I.e in the app) however there are some dedicated postures that do this by sharing their items in a particular order. For example: you want to have tops as a category; so you would find all of your tops and share them in the sequence you want them listed. Every Time you share an item it becomes the first thing listed in your closet. Then of course you would do that for each category that you want to have sharing each of your items and sequence. The challenge I had in doing this is that every time I shared an item for a posh party or updated an item my items would be out of sequence ( because remember when u share an item becomes the first thing listed in your closet) and I'm just not that dedicated to keep doing it over and over again... I wish I was because their closets are amazing!!πππ let me know if you have any questions happy to help!

@inspiredmama12 hello! Yes in order to do wholesale almost US vendor ( I know of anyway) requires a business license and resellers permit. Check with your state on how to apply as I think every state is different. Good luck!
