gjs42 So true. The grass isn't always greener. Just a different color! Lol. I just made that up. " not bad". Any ways hello. I'm Gretchen. We have a summer place in O. C. We were just there really wished we lived there year round. The rest of the time were by cold and snowy buffalo NY. Ugh!!!

omargirl @gjs42 - Hi! We are just 10 miles from O.C. My husband calls it the only resort town that is billed as a family resort and has a bar on every corner!! It's the whole grass is always greener thing - everyone wants to live here but in vacation mode. It's very different when you work, raise kids, etc. I haven't been in the beach in 2 years. And especially in DE, we have little infrastructure and commodities but beautiful beaches. We get snow here too but the Gov seems to lose the keys to the snow plow, lol. But more often, we get an icy bone chilling rain with a bitter damp wind off the Atlantic. My hubby is from Maine and still remarks at how cold it feels in your bones here. But as much as I have always wanted to move, my hubby and daughter love it here, so this is where we remain. 😊

omargirl @summerday - Yes, Bethany is quite lovely. In the late summer, early autumn it's really nice. It is still sunny, the beaches are empty and the water is still warm!! 🌞☀️🌊
