malloryshelton Hello, I recently bought something and it wasn't as described and I was approved to send it back for a refund. They said to send it back within 48 hours using the shopping label they sent me but I am unsure where to find that? Can you help me?

pdxlam @malloryshelton hi Mallory! It's upsetting when you buy things and there not as the seller said! But, Poshmark will email you the return shipping label to your regular email address then you can print it and attach it to the box, I usually use the same box they sent it to me originally, hope that helps let me know if you ever need any more help! ☺️

pdxlam @nomoreshines hi ash! You can drop packages off after hours as long as your local post office has that feature, where I live the post office has a lobby that is open 24/7 and we can drop packages, letters, and use the self service shipping kiosk where you can purchase stamps etc.

gothvintagerose Hello, I have a shipping question and I hope you can help. What happens when you sell items and ship immediately and the USPS leaves a notice because they could not leave the package and the buyer does not pick-up? Obviously, funds are not released, but, what happens to the package? Thanks.

That's unfortunately happened to me twice 😭 the buyer will have 2 weeks to pick up the item from their post office if it was undeliverable after that if they don't pick it up it will get sent back to you. Sadly it's a waiting game, poshmark had reimbursed me both times tho for the price of the item for inconvenience and then I still got the item back. I hope this helps you :)

pdxlam @calebd12123 hi Caleb the extra weight is paid for by the seller so typically if you know and item is heavy you would increase your selling price to account for that extra cost to you. Hope that helps ! :)

pdxlam @eajoyce787 as long as your buyer didn't cancel the order because it was delayed the original label should still work. You can also check the tracking since it's already shipped and it will tell you it's status.

I would for sure send poshmark an email though about this bc is the listing is cancelled for some reason and you can't mark shipped you might not get paid. Just shoot them an email and they'll sort it out for you!

pdxlam @beanieeee definitely email poshmark about this. Sellers are not allowed to ship other than usps and the poshmark label. Not sure why your seller would pay the extra money to send ups to you though when they could have shipped for free with the label provided.

audreyjoyner86 Hello I'm having a problem with the package I sent out It was supposed to be delivered Friday but is saying Unable to deliver item problem with address I spoke to the buyer and they said that USPS is returning to sender but that's not what the status says On the website or what the customer service person told mr but posh mark is saying if they haven't delivered the item by Friday of this week to contact them. Will I still be able to be compensated?

pdxlam @audreyjoyner86 definitely stay in contact with poshmark and make them aware of what the buyer said as it being returned to sender and what USPS is saying. Either way poshmark and usps protects the seller / insures the package. USPS has policies as well for lost packages if that’s the case here. Hope you get it worked out !

zaharique just tried to ship an order in a MEDIUM flat rate box. The post office said I owe more postage. Apparently the USPS employees in my city did not get the memo that flat rate is now allowed. I will repack and ship tomorrow.

mykidsnme I opened a case against a seller for selling unauthentic items. Poshmark sent me a shipping label to return the items, but they only sent 1 label and I need to return 3 items. Can I use the same label to return all 3 items?

pdxlam @mykidsnme did you buy all three items together? If so you would use the shipping label for one box and package them all in the same box. If it was three separate orders then you need to ask posh for three separate return labels.

kiara910 Hi, I dropped off a package at the usps blue dropbox on friday early in the day, and it’s been 2 days since and it never scanned. If (worst case scenario) usps lost it, would the buyer and I both be refunded? I don’t have a receipt since I dropped it in the box.

pdxlam @poshing22 unfortunately there aren’t any free shipping labels. Do you mean that your sold a bundle and one of the items is no longer available so you need a lower weighted label? If that’s the case you should cancel and have them purchase it again.

poshing22 @pdxlam no, I’m sorry, it’s a complicated story. My sister took one of my products to Mississippi with her w/out telling me. So I didnt know if it was possible to use one shipping label on two separate boxes. Both the products are still available/amazing condition/under 5 lbs together, but just not within range of being packaged together.

northernattic @pdxlam hey girl. New at selling here. I just sold a very large bundle for the first time. I put everything in a box and weighed it on my regular scale. I upgraded to a 8lb label. Get to the post office. Turns out it was 5 oz over and wouldn't give me my package back because she said she already accepted the package. Will this get returned to me? Will the buyer have to pay extra postage? Please help!

pdxlam @12perkinsj hey girl! Honestly both could happen, it could get sent back to you, in that situation you’ll need to ask poshmark for a new label. If it gets delivered they may ask your buyer to pay some extra. Your buyer can accept it and pay it or she can send it back to you where then you would re ship it to her with the correct label. For me, I just paid the extra money usually only a few bucks bc I didn’t want to wait longer for my item.

pdxlam @katiecoats11 I’ve honestly never had that happen to me! I print labels and don’t ship for like days often and I’ve never had an issue. You can always download a new label though through the app and print it again!

pdxlam @jchao8 first I would weigh yourself at home then weigh yourself again holding the box to actually see if it’s over. If it’s close I would just pay for the label with more weight. It’s not worth the few extra dollars to have to go back and re print a new label and then ask poshmark to refund the heavier label

pdxlam @jessbowser hey! I really don’t think they lost your package, sometimes it can take an entire day for something to get scanned out. Especially if it was close to closing time or holiday. But I’m not sure about reimbursement, if it was lost poshmark would refund the buyer. I’m not sure if they would reimburse you.

pdxlam @kaitlynecarter6 size doesn’t matter it’s the weight that matters. The label poshmark gives you is for a package under 5 lbs. if your package weighs more than that you need to pay extra and buy a shipping label for a heavier weight.

pdxlam @kaitlynecarter6 technically yes, the label pays for the weight not the size. I wouldn’t use a usps box though I would use just a plain box or if it’s a dress it would be better to not use a box and buy a plastic shipping bag.

pdxlam @laaaawwren it’s usually not an issue unless it’s like a week late. Just comment and let the seller know and email poshmark and let them know. Usually post offices have an overnight drop box and I would take it there so it ships out right away

pdxlam @wna1192 if you shipped it in one of the usps boxes listed above or a generic box than your postal worker is wrong. I wouldn’t even drop packages off with the worker I just drop mine straight into the package locker.

pdxlam @wna1192 you also shouldn’t be paying anything at the post office. Poshmark gets all their labels at a discount rate which is why they provide the label for you to print. I would let the worker know that as well.

pdxlam @jennamichele1 hey girl, first make sure you’ve sent poshmark an email letting them know the situation. Then comment and let your buyer know. If your buyer is honest she should still make the sale as delivered when she receives it then you will get paid. You could also provide posh and the buyer the tracking number.

pdxlam @jennamichele1 that would be up to poshmark so make sure to let them know. They have no way of knowing if you actually sent the item or not. Typically in my experience posh has been very helpful and has reimbursed both me and my buyer for a lost package but that’s on a case by case basis.

housewifeval Hi. I shipped a package to a buyer and the tracking said that package could not fit in mailbox so they left her a notice to pick package up at post office. Notice was left on 3/1 and it is now 3/14. Buyer has not picked up package and I have politely messaged her but she does not respond to my message. How long will the post office hold it? pdxlam @housewifeval hey so annoying when this happens! I’ve had this happen to me. Yes the post office will mail it back to you. But the time they’ll take varies. You can call them and request they mail it back. First thing I would do is email poshmark to let them know the buyer isn’t responding and tell them the situation. In the past I’ve had them still pay me for the sale and then I also got the item back to re-list. I would not re-list the item though until it’s back in your possession.

I’ve had a few people comment and say their post office didn’t like the different date but since 2012 I’ve never had an issue printing and shipping later. If they ask I would just say that the postage doesn’t expire.

pdxlam @lwb1167 if you need to ship sneakers in their original box that will be fine. It won’t be over 5 lbs total probably. You’ll just need a bigger box to fit the show box inside. I typically re-use amazon boxes for all my sales or I’ll just find a larger box. The post office has larger size boxes as well for free you can use.

pdxlam @lwb1167 posh pays for up to 5 lbs if your package is over 5 lbs then you can go into the app and select to pay for more weight which will get deducted from your earnings. But I highly doubt one pair of sneakers in box is over 5 lbs. you can also weigh yourself then weigh yourself holding the box to get an accurate weight.

pdxlam @tennesseetulip if they didn’t email you a label then your email address is probably incorrect in the app. You can into the sale and there is a download button, then you can’t print it straight from your phone to your home printer.

pdxlam @susana_sualevai hey, if you search the tracking number through the app of usps website it should tell you what the issue was. Most likely there is something wrong with the buyers address / the post worker couldn’t find the location to drop it off. You can email poshmark and ask for a new label but I would communicate with your buyer to see what they’d like to do.

So if you sell an item Thursday but ship Saturday and it doesn’t scanned till Monday it will say you shipped the item in 3 days. It doesn’t track how long it takes item to get there after it’s been scanned the first time out.

pdxlam @avma hey, posh hasn’t changed policy’s most post office workers just don’t know how poshmark works. The date on the label is the sale date correct and it has nothing to do with shipping. Also 2 day shipping means that from when you ship it usps has 2 days to ship, has nothing to do with your allotted handling time. My advice is to drop your packages in the blue package bins not at the desk. Or you can speak with their manager. You’re not doing anything wrong and have up to 7 days.

pdxlam @carlaxxmarie if you don’t mind that the return label is the other address then you can use the existing label. Just know if it needs to be sent back it will go to that other address. You can also cross out the return address on the label and right the correct one or like tape a white paper over the old label and then write in the new one. Last option is the change your home address in the app then email posh for a new label.

pdxlam @natoax hey! Poshmark is already 2 day priority shipping. For future sales know that your buyer doesn’t get to tell you when they want an item. As a seller you should try and ship within two days of the sale to be courteous but you have up to 7 days to ship an item.
