msbsboutique I agree! There's a great app called Totspot that a lot of the Posh ladies use. It's just like Posh. I try to use that as a way of telling them KIDS CLOTHES ARE NOT ALLOWED! msbsboutique @alwtober I think it's ok to mention in a comment as long as you're not advertising or have a listing posted in your closet specifically for the app. I think it also helps to let sellers with kids clothes know in a round-about way that it's against Posh rules. There are a couple of sellers that I've run across that have listings posted in their closet for Totspot but it's listed in a way that it tells sellers that it's against Posh rules to sell kids clothes.

I only follow closets that follow Posh rules, as my listing says, and it makes it easier when it's in the profile for me to follow people back without having to look through their whole closet. I often welcome people under this listing so they know some of the Posh rules and a few tips like that. I'm glad you found it helpful. 💞😘

alwtober @louisloubsnlulu Sorry I am behind on responding and sharing. To answer your question about sharing, I usually just share the party themed items to the party and the rest in that group if it is dresses, tops, pants. etc. to my followers to keep them all together. since I have mine grouped by type of clothes ( my jewelry and accessories I keep together too). I'm not sure what others do about sharing their items. Hopefully once someone looks in your closet at an item, they will look at your other items also. Once you get a good group of followers, you can sort of count on them to share your other items that aren't party theme related especially if you share and/or share in return. Just a note: When someone else shares your items it doesn't move them in your closet. In the meantime, if you're sharing your own items, I would just share them to the party and then also to your followers to keep them together if you're organizing your closet like that. LMK if that doesn't make sense or if you have any other more specific questions, or if that didn't help, I can tag one of the other ladies who would share how they do theirs. 🎀H⃝a⃝p⃝p⃝y⃝ P⃝o⃝s⃝h⃝i⃝n⃝g⃝🎀

alwtober @cyndy_bennett I usually don't do business with people that don't follow the rules. If someone has a closet full of replicas I would say report them. If someone has just one I would make a comment if they're following the rules otherwise. Sometimes people just don't know all the rules. But, some people know the rules and just ignore them. Those are the people that I would report. I hope that helps.

alwtober @cyndy_bennett the only advice I can think of besides following Posh rules is to get involved in conversations with people like this one. You meet more people and they "introduce" you to their PFFs. From looking at your closet you're doing great really great with your listings!

fashionreclaim Hello, I'm new and I was wondering if I could get some advice. I sometimes dress androgynous which includes wearing men's ties. You mentioned something about not listing men's clothes -would this be something against posh rules even though it's a style some women dress in? I also listed a vintage men's grunge flannel because the oversized flannel is a trend too. So what's the consensus on men's clothes that are worn by females as trends being listed on Poshmark?

alwtober @maybeimmedicate Posh rules state that men's clothing and accessories should not be listed. If it's part of a particular women's outfit I don't think there's a problem. Even though some ladies wear men's clothing it is currently against Posh rules. I think they're trying to make sure the site stays mostly in the categories it was meant for, which is women's. Some rules have a grey area and this might be one. Hope that helps some.

alwtober @yayadahhling mostly you have to find the pics online then use an app like PicCollage or Photo Collage to make them look pretty and/or add more than one image to a pic, GIPHY is another and it has images on on the app. Thanks for the shares. I haven’t been very active since I just got a new job in January and moved a week later. But, I am still selling what is listed. And will add more as I unpack and find them.
