@hobocamp03 how heartbreaking!! She has two. One is in her ribcage muscle and the other is on her right back hip. Vets said it isn't soft and doesn't think they are lipomas. The anesthesia etc is what costs a small fortune! OMG

My little Shih tzu swallowed something that wasn't meant to be swallowed and they were talking about having to do emergency surgery and that he might not make it through. Safe to say, I almost had a heart attack. But he's ok and I know your pup will be ok too! Trust me, when I saw the $1500 to $3000 vet bill, I almost fainted too! Praying for your pup! π

@amberrrrrrr apply for care credit. Its basically a health credit card and you can use it for vets/animal hospitals. I just had to take my pup to the animal hospital last week because he has an infection and our bill came to $552 for all of the tests. I applied for care credit and they approve you or deny you right away. Google it and Check it out! Hope that can help

Thank you so much π it was so hard for me and for my kids..but in the end the dogs are doing great. The pug is with family and the shephard is with a cop who actually lost his shephard from cancer 2 weeks prior! Crazy how things work out sometimes π

@janet0103 yeah she seems to be doing okay, thank you. I have her with me. I am always petting her and just felt this lump on her last week. I'm a nurse and I was hoping it was just a fatty tissue but it's hard and the vet said it probably isn't. She said I just need to get this surgery within the next 3 months but I want to get it ASAP. I don't want it to get bigger. π©

He did great. The only hard part was one of the lumps was on on his leg and he kept trying to get the bandage off and lick the stitches. It turned out to be noncancerous πππand is almost healed. Where is hers at? Will she go under anesthesia?

@ginger71 well that's encouraging. She has one embedded in her ribcage, and one on her right back hip. They said she'll probably need to wear one of those "cones of shame" so she doesn't lick the stitches. I'm probably over reacting, but I lost my mom to cancer 4 years ago and I just am praying my dog doesn't have cancer because I'll die π©π

I'm so sorry about your Mom! I can't even imagine how hard that is for youπ. No I don't think you're overreacting at all. I almost threw up up when I took my dog and put it off for weeks because I was so scared he had cancer. Mine wasn't that much. One of the lumps on his back was a cyst so they left it there and the other they removed with local anesthesia. So it was $550. I'm sure the one on her rib cage needs anesthesia. She'll do fine though...at least she doesn't have to be awake. I think the worst part for her will be wearing the cone for so longπ I hope everything turns out well and noooooo cancer!

This post isn't asking anyone to donate money. In fact, I've even turned down money from people. It originally was a "sale post" for bogo 50% off. Now that the sale is over, I left it up so everyone will know where their purchase money is going when I personally THANK them for it in the cards I send with each purchase. I had cancer and actually was not auppose to make it so this hits really close to home for me and while i was going through my treatments i had to put one of my dogs down due to cancer. @mrsalliexo aw thanks so much!! They found a few tumors on my dog and they are going to remove them. One is on her hip and one is in her rib muscles. She's getting up there in age. She'll be 9 in January. The one on her hip is hard and the vet said she doesn't think it's a lipoma, but isn't sure what it is. The anesthesia is so expensive!! π©
