jayshapiro @sophiesummers hi Sophie, nice to meet u. Everyday at 7pm, poshmark will held a theme party. Posh staff will choose ladies to co-host to the said party for those who follow posh rules. They will notify you when u can possibly co host & what is the theme of the party. This will give u a chance to sell your items in your closet & be introduce to the party (something like that). as a co host, u will have a chance to choose items from your followers that best suited to the theme party. This is called host picks. If ur item is being chosen as host pick, it will be shared many many times in the said party & u will have a chance to sell it faster. Not only that, u will gain more followers. There is a chance that one person wants to bundle for something else from ur closet which is really good. Co host will choose items to be host picks from those who follow posh rules. Let me know if u have more questions. I'll be happy to help. Thanks 😄

katz2 Hi Jay, you're correct it's a lot of work finding closets that follow Posh rules. I suggest you start looking now and make a list of closet names and like some items. When you get your theme, you can revisit and see if they have appropriate items. Don't worry about your selections, just have a good time with it!💕💕

danystormborn @jayshapiro Yes, I did do that! About 2 weeks ago I think! They told me I was very kind and thanked me for being a great Posher, and that they would pass along my closet for consideration. I'm hoping that's a good thing. I've been told sometimes it helps if other people right in and suggest you as well, but I don't feel right asking anyone to do that for me haha.

danystormborn @jayshapiro I'm pretty sure I will! The gave me the list of things the look for in an SU, and I believe I have all of them! They told me clear, thoughtful covershots (which I THINK mine are), follows all Posh rules✅ Shares other user's great items and listings ✅ Communicates and socializes with other members of the Posh community✅✅✅ haha. Half the time I spend on Posh is meeting new friends, trying to share and help other's with their closets, and talking with my PFF's (or making new awesome ones 😉😘) I'm also currently reshooting my covershots so that they are all against a white background.

Seriously though, I have been checking my email a million times a day just hoping that one day I'll see that message I've been working so hard for. I even created a special filter so all of my Poshmark emails go into a special folder, and it's the first one I check EVERY TIME I read my emails lol. I know it could take a long time, but I've been working SO HARD, for months now, so maybe I'll get lucky and be chosen sooner rather than later.

danystormborn @jayshapiro thank goodness! In that case maybe I do really stand a chance of getting picked soon! My only concern is that I haven't sold too many items yet, even though I have a perfect 5 star rating. I'm not sure why, or what I'm doing wrong! A friend told me that items that are a size large and medium tend to sell faster, and most of mine are small and medium, so that might be why.

jayshapiro @danystormborn that is correct. Sizes M, L, XL sells faster than small sizes. Here is what I can recommend to you. Go to shop and then search items like dresses or shirts same size/s as what ur selling, u don't need to do actual shopping. follow & share those who has the same sizes as what ur selling. They will do the same as u do (follow & share & possibly shop). This will gain u more followers in ur size/s & sales. In my case, I have XS- XL sizes. I use to be petite. After my baby, I'm M- XL depending on the fabrication & brand. So I have various sizes.

danystormborn @jayshapiro it was NOT EASY. I had to change my ENTIRE lifestyle, and it took a very long time. I also found out that cardio is the least effective way to lose weight, so once I started doing strength training, that's when the weight started falling off. I do feel better about myself now though, so it was worth it.

jayshapiro @shay3624 I'm only 7months actually. I do a lot a day. I have 95,000 shares now. The secret to get more sales is to follow & share. Go through closets that has lots of followers & lots of shares. The more you share from their closet, they well follow & share almost same shares you do. Your closet will be exposed to their followets✅✅✅
