The blue iridescent color of these quartz crystals is the result of a specific treatment process, where the crystals are heated and fine vaporized gold is bonded to the stone's surface. All crystals are securely placed and will not budge. Each ring is made with love. Price is final.

elenabarbie @medababie thank you! No they're not dyed. To become this color the quartz crystals go through a plating process where they're put in a special machine, vacuum chamber, also with a certain metal added. Metals that can be added are usually silver, platinum, gold, and titanium. When put into the vacuum the metal will actually attach itself as a thin and permanent layer to the crystals. In result and oddly enough gold can turn quartz crystals an iridescent blue. Hope that answered your question! 😊

elenabarbie @amykubas hello love, sorry I missed your comment. I can see if the aura quartz is removable by boiling off the glue because I don’t have extra of these bases. Let me know if you’re still interested.

amykubas @elenabarbie thanks for the response! I am definitely interested in a clear quartz option, but I totally understand if it’s a risk to adjust something that already exists. I don’t want to take away from the opportunity for someone to purchase who wants the blue stones as-is!
