motherskiss If I go into a closet to share items I will share a real pic (even its not the greatest pic in the world) before I will share a stock photo or a pic with sooo much junk in it that I can't spot right away the item for sale. @abstractdreams

jeskipants I'm still a very new Posher, but I hate stock photos. I personally won't buy anything that has stock photos for their whole listing. It seems sketchy to me.

blue_bee Oh I hate stock photos! I was once buying a kate spades wristlet from a women and all her photos looked stocked so I asked her are these pics of the actual item, she said yes and how it was in perfect condition nwt. I couldn't call her a liar and decided to believe her. My mistake, received the item with the tags on but super damaged.

lakeforest @maidmarian I so agree! When Posh started allowing so many here to resell wholesale orders, many gals started using stock photos and it's very deceiving. I'm not knocking their decision to create their "online boutiques", however, please show the actual garment or listing that I will be receiving!! What happened to the original concept of selling things from our own closets ala online consignment😬Dani, I love your colorful closet👍Recently there was a party co- host who wanted to select HPs based only on clean, streamlined pics"... Huh? What happened to showcasing our individual creativity?😘

theneonetwork I couldn't agree more!! All those stock photos just confuse me! I try to include just one if it showcases my item well or stylizes it differently. Otherwise, it's my own crappy photos up there! I don't trust a closet that is full of stock photos and wouldn't buy from them. You don't really know what you're getting! XO

baglady24 I agree with a great many of you! Stock photos, forgetta bout it! I don't feel that wholesalers should be a part of Posh...leave that to E bay please; it's all about selling our 'own' personal items. Creativity, yes, as long as you're showing the item and only that item. It is very confusing, in my opinion, if the shot contains an entire outfit when selling only "the necklace" that is just too much. If need be, please post in the final photo of the listing. Lastly, "inspired" does not mean a copy of an item, that is an outright KNOCKOFF and is illegal to produce AND sell (I saw a knockoff chosen as a Host Pick; the listing clearly stated "an exact copy" WHAT!? 😱 Okay, I'm stepping off my soapbox now..😁

cali1018 Some times when I take the pics it looks like a crazy color...because I'm an amateur, at best, photographer I always try first and then if it looks crazy I settle in for the download. It's crazy when something gold or silver looks purple or green in my own pics...lol! Otherwise, I agree!! When I become a better photographer, I will throw away the "download"

motherskiss No, :) they are the colors of the Ethiopian flag. Red is for the blood of the people, green is for the land and yellow is for the gold and riches found in Africa. The colors are also representative of the Rastafari community made popular by reggae singers like Bob Marley. I do have an autistic son. Multi colored puzzle pieces is the symbol for autism. @luvsmink

I go round and round with my daughter about my Grandchildren. I have another friend who is an OB/GYN, and her son also is Autistic. He is a brilliant, sweet, hard headed young man who keeps his Mother hopping. I can't imagine how busy your life must be; keeping myself "oiled and moving" is a full time job. luvsmink @motherskiss .......I'm so torn; my generation was vaccinated, my children were vaccinated. Now, all this controversy confuses me. I worry about my Grandbabies; but respect my Daughter and Son in Law's wishes. I see all these outbreaks of measles, whooping cough, etc., and children dying. Additionally, because of my car accident and injuries, I've been left with an autoimmune disorder which makes me susceptible to every disease possible. May I ask how old your son is ??

motherskiss My son is 13 now. And way bigger than me. He is a computer genius but can't tie his shoes, it's ok, I don't mind tying his shoes LOL. I know all too well about auto immune diseases, I have Sarcoidosis and is virtually a prisoner in my own home. I HATE HATE taking steroids for it so I try to stay away from too many people :) @luvsmink

luvsmink @motherskiss ....same with Glenda's son....6'3" and can figure anything out through computer use and gaming; but has the mind and manners of a 6 yr old. Sweet, sweet, boy; but my friend worries as she is now 65, and won't practice medicine much longer. As for me; I'm a home hermit....LOL

motherskiss That is my biggest worry in life, I know he will never live on his own and I am not happy about group homes, gonna keep him with me as long as I can. I have a daughter who is 15 and we have talked about her being his guardian when I am gone and she is settled in her career. She wants to be a child therapist. Yeah, I hardly go anywhere especially during the winter, thats why I can Posh almost 24 hours a day! :) @luvsmink

monikasmoshposh @motherskiss I am proud of all my photos! I just bought a Nikon camera. And have been giving my closet a makeover. I have 4 photos I did not take. But will change those as well. All others are taken by me! I am not a fan of stock photos. Posh is a business to me. An advertisement if you will. Your own photo shows you have taken time in boosting your business. It is a reflection of the seller I think. In my opinion.

I always take my own pictures...on some posts I'll add at the END a picture with a model wearing it or an example of what the item could look like paired in a full look but I always take pictures of my own stuff. ♡ I hate it when I see a stock photo FIRST and it's nothing like the item for sale.
