gemmas_treasure Yu should use eventbrite for tickets to the event. This should cover cost of drinks/food/prizes etc. Also, ask for donations. Whomever donates can include a business card to advertise their closet😉

Yay 20 have RSVP, that's a good amount of people for the first ever hawaii love party 😄 I would definitely say we should say some extra because you never know how many more people will want to come from now until the party, it's just hard to say how much more 😕 does Poshmark ask how many people are coming because they send over things for the party? Do we have to account for the amount of people we say are coming or do they allow a little wiggle room for those who may show up or RSVP really late?

gemmas_treasure @larochelle This is great! Let them know you have a current total of 20, but hope to be closer to 30 or 40 by the time of the party. Also, once you do have confirmation by posh, you should open up an Eventbrite page, so that people can officially RSVP, and you should be able to collect some money to spend towards cost of the event.

gemmas_treasure @larochelle I would. Mostly because then you have people who are more likely to come if they've paid for a "ticket". I've heard of some meet ups having a low turn out, and so Eventbrite has been very popular for these for that exact reason. Are you in the Posh Group, PFFs meet, greet and empower on Facebook? If so, I can always ask some of the ladies best practices and tag you on it.

hiilei I haven't looked into event brite but from an organizational standpoint, it might be easier because we will have a way to tell who will actually show up since they would be purchasing a ticket ahead of time and we could use the money to buy food and whatnot so it would be less to coordinate trying to figure out who's bringing what? Idk just a thought?
