blueskyaction Thank you so much for the tag, Kim. I'm definitely in need of prayers right now. I'm lying in the emergency room after spending my entire day at student health. This morning, I woke up with hip pain so severe it took me almost an hour to even be able to move enough to get out of bed. Since the moment I stood up, I've been either crying or fighting back tears because of the pain. I see yet another hip surgeon tomorrow, but I don't know how much more can be done for my hips. Before my first hip surgery when I was 17, I was told I will need hip replacements young, probably by my 30s. Now, at 24, I'm so terrified that time has come.

blueskyaction Thank you for praying for me! I do not have an IV due to vomiting, but I do have a G/J feeding tube because of a severe case of a digestive disease called gastroparesis that has left my stomach almost entirely paralyzed. The worst symptom I have with the gastroparesis is vomiting of undigested food, sometimes 24+ hours after I eat the food. I do have an IV in right now, though, because of the hip problems/pain. The student health center put in one IV yesterday afternoon in order to give me IV fluids in case the hip pain was actually being caused by another episode of rhabdomyolysis, which is a condition where the body breaks down skeletal muscle, which releases toxins into the blood that can send a person into acute renal failure (which happened to me in August 2013). Usually rhabdomyolysis (rhabdo for short) is caused by a virus, certain medications (especially cholesterol lowering medications like Lipitor), or extremely strenuous exercise. It is seen pretty often in military members going through basic training or boot camp, and also quite often in CrossFit. Rarely, it's caused by genetic defects, mostly glycogen storage deficiencies. Well, I've had now at least a dozen and a half bouts of rhabdo with absolutely no explanation for any of the episodes, and even underwent a muscle biopsy to be checked for those genetic causes. I got a nice long scar on my calf, but no answers. Student health then sent me to the emergency room, where I had ANOTHER IV placed, but mostly for administering pain medication to try to get a handle on this pain.

bkimh @blueskyaction Sarah, what is Student Health? A hospital or a college type medical facility? I was going to talk to you about your hip replacements. I realize you are you own person and at 24 you do make your own decisions, but, may I ask where your Mom is and what does she think about you having the replacement? I first thing that came to mind for me was she needs to have the replacements and that will take care of some of the pain. It would work. I don't know, but I am going to be researching what you have so I have a better understanding of what you are going through. I pray you are having a much better morning. Pls keep me posted. reggies_closet @bkimh Hi! My name is Stacy. This is such a great idea and so sweet. I have 2 requests right now. My dad's best friend of 30 yrs committed suicide a few days ago. His daughter is about to have her 1st child in less than a week. Her mother died last yr and her brother has also passed away. Prayer that she would have strength to raise her baby without any family. My other request is for my husband. He returned from Afghanistan a couple days ago, so for him to adjust quickly back to family life. We have 4 kids and our 5th is due in less than a month. Just for him to have patience with all of us and to be "present" while he is home for a few months. Thank you!

Matthew 8:14-15; And when Jesus was come into Peters house, He saw his wife's Mother laid, and sick of a fever. and he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose, and ministered unto them. We think of a fever as a little thing, but, it can cause all kinds of health problems and if he can heal this woman, then without a doubt, he can touch you and heal you. This is so hard God will get us all through this . I told Neeley a few minutes ago about you she wants to read your messages I told her she will be in tears I couldn't see to read . So I think she needs to see all the support in getting from all my posh sisters just waiting for that moment her brain clicks says why am I doing this ? Neeley has write us letters of her addition didn't want to stop DOSNT know we're this is taking her . I did all kinds of drugs and if it had not been for our Father in Heaven, satan would have killed him. but, you see, I prayed, his grandparents prayed and when there are two or more agreeing in Jesus name, God will answer. This didn't mean that he stopped right a way, he didn't and he knew that he could have died and been lost. God has indeed put a henge around Neeley and he is going to protect her, but, he will only let her go so far and she will have to make a choice. going to the only Physican, that is Jesus Christ, he will save her take the desire away and turn her life around and your whole family. If you ladies could pray for my six year old sons health he's been diagnosed now twice with a not so common disease he beat it the first six weeks.. And I'm very hopeful he will do it again while the disease runs it course again during these six weeks.. The disease has his legs bruised badly with a rash and can take a toll , damage or destroy intestinal organs.. If you go to my page under the hospital bed picture you can read about his disease toward the bottom.. I also have a three year old little girl she's healthy and my husband as well, he's away in Florida on work until Tuesday so I unfortunately am going through this alone right now so any extra prayers will truly be appreciated and mean more than anything.. They both have very strong faith and miss each other terribly. Also his father and I have been divorced since 2003. He just found out while over seas that he's getting married to wife #3. He's had # 3 fiancées since our divorce and due to my illness he has the children. They are now 22, 18, 15 my 15 yr old wants to come live here I have a stable home and marriage of 13 years. Dad says no. Please pray God intervenes. He needs consistency in his life. Thank you.

nami001 @bkimh Kim, this listing fills me with hope. You have a beautiful soul and God will bless you. I'd also like to be included. I have a genetic disease called neurofibromatosis or NF for short. Also known as Elephant Man Disease. Essentially they're numerous tumors that grow outside and inside the body. There's no cure for it and lately it's become more aggressive. I'm afraid of what it's doing to the inside of my body. I guess I'm just a little lost. I've decided not to have children because the possibility of passing it on to my children is high. I love children but knowing what I'm going thru I can't knowingly take the chance. It's a long story but I would appreciate prayers to help me feel at peace and accept the challenge that God has set before me. Thank you for posting this. pregomom29 @bkimh Her name is Isabella Grace.. God love her... And you! I am in tears... Absolute tears.. I can barely see to type on my phone.. Thank you is never enough, I am blessed to have come across such a true soul such as yourself.. She is MUCH MUCH better!! I was worried sick Friday &rushed her back to the ER Saturday. Long story short, she was showing Every single sign of a major concussion (& or virus). Neither hospital would do an MRI or a Cat Scan. I won't go on about how upset I am w/ the care she has received.. When a mom calls 911 (especially me bc I was an EMT) you know it's bad. So all I know is I am ever so grateful she is OK!! They sent me off w/ Claritin for her, for allergies!! Your prayer must have worked, she is asleep soundly in the other room w/ her daddy & just fine 🙏🙏🙏 I have a lot of appointments coming up, so I haven't been on like I use to be.. ((((Hugs)))) my dear friend 💖

blueskyaction Oh wow I'm so sorry for falling off of the grid. Student health is the medical center at UCLA for students--mostly made up of nurse practitioners with a few M.D.s. I normally go elsewhere to see a doctor, but when an emergency strikes and I can't get in to see my normal primary care doc, I go to student health. They did MRIs while I was in the hospital at the end of February and found that I have ruptured muscles and severe bursitis. I also had scans done to look inside my hip joint a week ago, and am waiting on results. Since then, things have been hectic--I got the feeding tube out and a week later started with a flair so bad that I was unable to digest food for over a week. Ended up in the emergency room once, blood sugars low, only to be discharged a couple of hours later despite how sick I still was. I'm slowly trying to eat more, but I can't push too hard or my stomach rejects the food and it comes back up, sometimes right away, sometimes not for 12-24 hours, but it comes up.

I read earlier and my heart has been breaking for you since. A medical condition, where the Drs just say that you can't, or have you had any surgery that you can not have children now? I found on my lunch break. I am now raising his 12 year old daughter. I am in such pain every day. I cry every time. I am so proud of her. It is hard for them and they want to give up. I am trying my best to help because I know that the Lord placed this in my soul to do. I will do it for as long as he allows me to. paulaalbe1 🙏Prayers for you. I am sorry for the pain. You are the rock! You have a gift that is so wonderful. I work some with children with cancer. I hate seeing it, but God take me first! I love leaving random toys at the Ronald McDonald house with notes. On Moody Bible I heard the wonderful story of Art Abandonment. I am sure you are a great Patient with the Doctors. gators73 @bkimh thank u so very much. WOW! I had back surgery 3 years ago but no pins or anything. NEW bulge at L4, SI is causing severe pain, diagnosed wiith osteoarthritis in back with digenerative disc disease. My nerves coming out of bottom of my spinal cord have lesions/tears & my pelvis keeps upslipping from right hip. LITTERALLY went from feeling good...new career path going great to bedrest & difficulty walking.

Dravet Syndrome has not taken joy, love and faith from our family, instead it made us look at life a different way. We learned patience, learned to live and enjoy everyday to the fullest! paulaalbe1 Prayers for Richard, admitted to the Hospital during a scan that had an injectable. The medication moved badly in his chest and he has had quad bypass in addition to Stage 4 Cancer. I had just left one scan to go to the Oncologist. The call shocked me, so back I went! His Children Chad and Sara are with him now. He doesn't like a big stir around him, but it is Chad's bday. He insisted I come feed our dog. I read him story's from the Bible to him! 🙏😢

pampiglet @bkimh Kim thank you for letting me know. Sarah and I met earlier this year and had shared conversations about each other's life. We prayed for each other ( she prayed for Nikko and I have always included her in mine💜). I am deeply saddened by her passing. She was such a fighter, so young and full of energy and light! She is now at better place. Smiling at all of us- her friends, free from all the pain and worry! She will be truly missed. I will keep her family in my prayers .

God knows the needs for each one even if I don't know their names. God does. It was so very sad to know that Sarah passed away. You feel as all of us do. I was in shock and still am.

The pics I have are not good; they don't even look like her.. She was so STRONG!!!!!! Ugg! So hard! Anyway, I gave her mother a tribute video I was asked to pass on to her, so I threw in my artwork for her. She asked me if she could have the hard copies b/c she is going to have it framed.
