I am cleaning up my following list. I just can't follow a closet that is selling fur pieces. I do participate in follow posts so when I eventually see that there is fur in a closet, I have to unfollow. This is a personal and ethical decision that I hope you understand. If you were gifted an item and just trying to get rid of it - I understand! It has happened to me too.

voguerecycled I refuse to share ANY fur listings...I haven't had time to look at everyone's entire closet, but if I see fur I unfollow. I love this...I just haven't gotten around to making a sign like this.

tessahen89 by the way, my fur blanket that is featured in some of my cover photos is faux! haha i just clicked the back button to my closet and saw that my first 10+ listings are on a faux fur blanket! had to come back to clarify! been vegetarian for 15 years...i've unfollowed lots of people for featuring fur...its so senseless

rmccouture I totally feel this. I do share groups, & can't push my beliefs on other members of the groups, but I always skip sharing the fur... I don't say anything, and no one has ever asked me why I skipped an item, so there hasn't been a reason to mention it. That being said, I admire how you stick to your values here. Fur is disgusting on so many levels. I've been a vegetarian for 31 years. I think this is awesome!❤️

poshstylesbyme I feel the same way. I will share but nothing fur related. What I've been reading about leather is another issue. I won't buy new leather anymore. I refurbish used. Some is made with dog skin. However most animals go through cruelty for fashion. Most people have no clue what they are buying and supporting when buying these items. Happy Poshing! Stephanie

beardove @sonpaises awesome! I love ducks! When I was a kid I had the most loyal duck. I have a cockateil too! How old is yours? Does it talk? Mine is named Phoenix; 11 years old; will step up onto finger/hand; says "Mama", "Up", and "No". He loves to sing pretty and enjoys music. (Seems to really like the Avette Brothers.) My furbabies also include two dogs, a rabbit, and a snake! I have always dreamed of having a piggy so hopefully I can add one to my family in the future 😉

chicknthesticks @mimibeach27 You're an inspiration! I'm a vegetarian, not just for health but because I can't have an animal killed just so I can eat it. I'm trying hard to clear my personal closet from leather. It's hard, but I'll get there. Cows, lambs and goats are just as important as rabbits, foxes and minks.

chicknthesticks @beardove I am the same! But I feel just as strongly about animals killed for leather, as you can see in my comment above. I am currently selling my leather shoes, boots, bags, etc. It's easy to be a vegetarian, but it's been challenging to clear my personal closet. However, I love and advocate for ALL animals, not just the cute, cuddly ones ☺️❤️ Someday, thanks to inspiring advocates like you, every human will feel the same way!!
