dramaless @texaslariat Hello Diana, thank you so much for offering to help. Yes, we are still needing donations. There are hundreds of families that lost everything! All sizes are needed from children to women's & mens up to size 3X!! They aren't picky, and have been so appreciative and thankful for everything we've taken. They are also needing personal hygiene items, but a lot of that we've been buying for them locally, it's easier than getting it shipped from others.

I've been giving my address in an email to others, but unfortunately I dropped my phone in a puddle yesterday and had to get another one and my email is not working for some reason. dramaless @opie221 I totally understand that! I'm not sure what it would cost. Please do not worry about it. Some others I've sent clothing and I've purchased a lot of personal hygiene items local. I would offer to pay the shipping, but I'm just about tapped out too. I'm sure you can donate to your local Red Cross and they will distribute it locally. Thank you again for the offer. They may have lost everything they owned, but they wake up every morning and get to live another day. It's taking time, but they will be back in their own homes again (some of them). I overheard an elderly lady today saying she didn't even have a coat to wear!!! The coat you sent will be given to her and I believe the size is perfect! I also think her husband can use the Jean jacket!! I haven't received any larger size clothing (women's 2x and men's 2x) until yours!

I told him to open them and he said it was blankets & sheet sets!! I'm in awe at your generosity! I hate to say it, but there aren't many like you anymore! It is so sad to think of those that have been affected to varying degrees, and there is little that can be done to help when on the other side of the states, other than send necessities. The order is probably broken in segments, and there might be pillows coming on Tuesday. I am so glad that everything is working out!

dramaless @texaslariat Hello Diana, just wanted you to know the UPS man just dropped off a package and it's one king sized pillow. It says on the outside of the pillow package that it's a pack of two, but there is only one on there! Not sure why that is. The baggy that the pillow is in is big enough for two, so I'm assuming one was taken out at some point. Not sure if anything can be done or not.😞

texaslariat Yes, I sent that and also a pink one for a girl.They seem to be arriving in different shipsments, I guess you never know where amazon products come from. I will contact them about the pillow, should have been two. I hope things are improving bit by bit there, so glad you like everything. I was thinking of asking neighbors if they have clothes they don't need, what do you think? I could gather and send if that sounds like a good idea.

dramaless @texaslariat You are amazing!!! I'm not worried over that missing pillow, just couldn't believe someone had removed one and they didn't notice it when they packed it up! You've done so much already and I cannot thank you enough! We've had such an outpouring of generosity from so many local and out of state! It's truly been amazing! The main things I'm looking now are women's clothing in size 2X-3X and blankets (all sizes).

Suppose to be meeting with a lady this evening that said she had some clothing in 2X so that will be a huge help. If I don't receive anymore blankets in the next few days I'll just have to place another amazon order. One/two blankets per bed per person is a lot of blankets! Haha!
