Vintage PAGANNE by Gene Berk monochrom OP ART geometric patterned dress vintage designer 70s 60s fitted mini dress/tunic. This retro pop mod gogo beauty is very rare, with the most amazing geometric bold mirrored op art print. This is simply stunning, and so typical for the era and the designer, bold and striking! Print features the signature near the hem. Long sleeves and simple shift shape. Back zipper fastener. Lightweight and unlined. Size small.

She set up her own account but not sure how to switch the listings over, need to figure that out. Hope you had a good weekend. We had hoped to spend some time down at the beach but spent most of our time inside...still cold here!

I had so much fun creating this listing (although I wish that I had been wearing more period appropriate shoes!) Do you ever wear your Pagannes? I have two others; one I will put up in a few weeks, but the other was cut down the neckline by the original owner, so I doubt anyone would want it... You never know though!

@rmccouture I am no longer the right size. My goddaughter has been raiding my closets and everything fits. My love of fashion is being passed on to the next generation. But she's not getting the Irene dress until she's 30. Her face us still too young! Your closet is wonderful, I've collected vintage costume and Mexican silver and my aunt gifted mepieces she bought in the 1950s. Loved seeing your pieces. I am moving this summer, and the reason why I am selling my things on PM is because I was in a really bad car accident in March 2014, and suffered a brain trauma that has prevented me from teaching, which is what I had been doing for 15 years prior to the accident...

@michelasumma92 I can and do go way down on my prices for 90% of my items, but there are a few that I know are worth more than I have them listed for, and I don't feel like it's wise to sell things that actually increase in value as time goes on. Most things lose value over time. The only thing that really consistently gains value, in terms of culture, is art.

It is also rare to find a dress like this, so my feeling about it, right now, is that if I don't sell it, I'd rather store it safely and sell it in another 10 years for even more. That being said, I am in a financially challenging place, so my feelings on selling it for less could change in an instant...

I would like to purchase this dress and hit the buy now button but I have a quick question. I still have to take a picture of my skirt for you! It fits like a glove but it definitely on the tighter side more like an XS. Is this dress tight as well? Or since it is shaped more like a shift does it for more along the lines of a size 2/4?

I believe that "when bad things happen to good people" they happen so that those people can become better people. Having this injury has changed me. I suppose that I needed to change, and I'm hard-headed! I grow at the speed of pain! Being injured like I am has made me a lot more grateful for what I do have, a lot more compassionate, and a lot more humble.

My darkest, most challenging times have turned into my greatest assets, because I can refer to them to others who are in the dark, and be a beacon of light. It's really a beautiful thing, in hindsight, but going through it is bitch and a half! Lol!

@michelasumma92 As far as the sizing on the dress, it is a lot less restrictive than the skirt. You must be REALLY tiny! I could button the skirt, but it was too tight for my liking. The dress, on the other hand, is sooo comfortable to wear. It's A-line, so there's no waist, and it fits me perfectly. I'm about 5'5" and probably a size 0-2. I used to wear it when I was a size 6, and it looked just as good, if not better!

@michelasumma92 It's SHORT, so if you wear it as a dress, you really should wear biker shorts underneath, unless of course, you are a hussy, in which case, hussy on! (that is a joke!) @tikey9 It doesn't have to be all that time consuming, but I hear you in terms of finding time. I take all of my own photos, including this one! I prop my phone up on a tripod and take a video. Then I have to watch the video and pause it where I think it looks like it would make a good photo, take a screen shot, and then edit! You don't have to go that crazy posting on posh, but it's rewarding when the images come out like these did!❤️

I used to act and direct and do all sorts of things with the theater, but I was in a car accident in 2014 that has pretty much rendered me homebound, which is why I ended up on PM (cont.)

The only advice I have is to model the items if you can, and try using a white sheet behind whatever you are photographing. That will give the backgrounds consistency, and perhaps you will feel more confident about the flow...

Can't get this post out of my head since seeing it a couple days ago. I think it's probably too small for me, but just for shiggles could you provide measurements with it lying flat? I think you mentioned you might do so earlier in thread but I couldn't find the numbers. I know you said it's about a 6; I'm usually an 8, sometimes a 6 depending on fit (my bust is a 34C). Usually vintage items run small so I'm hesitant to consider this, but wanted to check for more info just in case... thanks!

@seahawksfan Okay, so laying flat, it's approximately 30" long.The shoulders are about 17". The chest is about 17" and the dress, at its widest, is about 20". I bought it when I was a size 8, and wore it as a top. It's very versatile. I hope this helps! ❤️

Thanks so much. Still stumped. Love it (of course! Who wouldn't?), but would be high risk size wise (and quite frankly, a splurge -- for me -- even if it fits). So I will continue to think about it and likely have it pop up in my dreams again tonight - ha! Is it basically polyester in terms of material? Any stretch/give to it? (See how I'm still grasping at straws asking questions?!?)? In the meantime I just purchased a bundle of some other of your lovely selections - again, thanks 😊

@seahawksfan There's a trick to getting to the bottom without having to scroll. Just hit "comment". It will take you to the bottom of the screen. That's what I do! I'm so excited you bought the Lucite vest! I hope that you will model it for me, because I've never really been able to wear it correctly!

@seahawksfan The dress is, I believe, 100% polyester. It does have a good amount of give to it. Sorry to taunt you with information like that! If you change your mind between now and tomorrow, and the dress is still available, I can cancel your bundle order, and rebundle it for you with the dress included. It's a significant discount today because of the 30% bundle deal. Just saying! No pressure!

The earrings that you were referring to that I sold were actually mini-christmas ball ornaments! I made them myself. I bought the balls at Michael's, and attached the to regular earrings. @michelasumma92 You could also just google "twiggy ball earrings" (they were inspired by earrings that Twiggy wore in a photo shoot, "oversized ball earrings" "disco ball earrings", etc. i have some oversized earrings that may work, but I'm not sure if I"ll have a chance to photograph them for you. If I see anything on PM, I'll definitely keep an eye out and tag you. I'm so excited that you're going to get to wear the dress out!❤️❤️❤️
