I just wanted everyone to see the difference in the real lorac and a fake! I obviously got burned and it was on here from a seller that claimed it was 100% authentic! After that I ordered my pro 1 and unzipped pallets directly from lorac! The gray palette on the top in pic 1&2 and the last pic are the fake, the other two are 100% real! I hope these pics save someone from being ripped off! The palettes from sephora&ulta don't have the bold print on the back either! Good luck!

If you have any doubts or questions don't hesitate to ask for additional pics. Just because someone says 100% authentic, doesn't mean they're telling the truth! ALWAYS go with your gut,if it sounds way to good to be true then it USUALLY is! There are still some great sellers out there selling 100% authentic pallets but you just need to do your research and ask questions!

@angiecorn hey, that girl blocked me lol i guess for saying hers wasn't real! Haha but here are some pics i posted of my authentic and fake one! The fake one she has listed if you'll look at the pans are waaaay to square and on the back of the palette is no serial number either! I hope these pics will help and if you have ANY questions please feel free to ask! A seller with an authentic palette shouldn't mind answering ANY questions!

@angiecorn also the names on the colors are way off center and sloppy! Lol

Hello .. Just want to let you know, "iandoer" sells counterfeit makeup beware. I was going to rely to her comment. But she blocked me, I've already reported her to "Poshmark"

@victoriab_2006 oh awesome! I'm so glad you knew that because i was very curious! Thanks so much for the heads up....i REALLY appreciate it!! Good lookin out! Lol

Absolutely! You're welcome. http://tinroman.com/naked-palette-urban-decay-review-fake-vs-real/
Take a look at this site.. A lot of helpful information. Also, if she is selling authentic merchandise, why would she block me? Lol or at least let me reply to her? No worries, at least you know she's a phony! 😉

jessbrew98
@victoriab_2006 I'll look... As you can probably see i did a ton of research on the lorac pallets and i have the too faced chocolate but that's an easy one lol the nakeds all i really know are the brush and serial #s so I'll DEFINITELY look at that link.. Thanks so much!! It REALLY drives me crazy when ppl sell fakes as authentic palettes and even more when ppl receive them and give 5 star reviews because they don't know any better! Live and learn i guess lol

@victoriab_2006 oh yeah and i agree about her blocking you before letting you respond lol if she had nothing to hide then why would she care?

I have a question do you know if the pallets that are real have that little code to scan like the first pallet in your first picture ?? I just purchased one and im scared that its not real.
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob i do know that it just depends lol i know that doesn't help much but i was with my sister in law who purchased hers from ulta and it doesn't have the bold print where it says pro palette on the back and the serial numbers are in a different stretched out almost kind of numbers and yes the ones from ulta and sephora have the scan for tutorials on the back! The next time I'm at her house I'm take a pic of hers and post it as well
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob one of the best ways to tell is the color payoff.. Although my fake one had descent pigmentation they don't swatch the EXACT same colors as the real ones... My eye-shadow consultant has great swatches and you can Google some blogs or even vlogs with some great accurate swatches and you should be able to tell from that.. There is a really big difference once you've felt the real thing.. Ulta has all three lorac pallets on display though if you live by one
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob *all the palettes lol not all three haha
Aug 13Reply

samzrob
Thank you for your response ! I really appreciate it! I have swatched the real one and thats what I like about them the creamy/ softness.
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob oh yeah the real ones are pretty amazing!! I didn't want to comment on that listing but tbh it looks like the real thing! The pans on the fakes aren't as perfectly rounded on the edges like that one either.Do even the matte shades feel really soft and i mean like buttery soft lol the back IS what the ones from sephora and ulta look like though...i will definitely take a pic the next time I'm at my sister in laws though, I'll try to have her send me one tomorrow if i can though
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob one more thing... The real ones feel like they have a rubber casing, they're not the least bit slick and you should be able to cover your whole lid with one swipe of the brush and it should look just like it does in the pan
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob I've been staring at the one you purchased and pulled out both of mine (real&fake) and i honestly think yours is real! I would say I'm 99% sure but i will still get you those pics asap
Aug 13Reply

samzrob
Awh thanks for your response !! Its very helpful !! We will see once I receive 😊
Aug 13Reply

jessbrew98
@samzrob you're very welcome and let me know please cause I'm now VERY curious lol and I'll post the pics of the one from ulta as soon as i can.... Good luck.....fingers crossed haha

@jessbrew98 thanks sooo much, so tell me why a seller on poshmark tried to bargain a, what she called as "an authentic" for $35!!! Then I research and found out that if the serial # is 14129, this is FAKE! So please guys, please don't fall on the same track.
Sep 11Reply

dianabarr1
@jessbrew98 Ask your seller to post a CLEAR picture of the serial # in the back. These eyeshadows contain God knows what in them, and you wouldn't like to put that near your eye. You know the worst part about it is that there is still sellers claiming they are authentic! They should be ashamed of themselves, claiming and scamming others. I wrote this on her posts, and she blocked me... Oh well, this needs to stop, it's offensive for the sellers trying to sell the REAL thing.
Sep 11Reply

jessbrew98
@dianabarr1 I'm so glad this helped you! You're absolutely right that some sellers have no morals and don't care what they are selling you in terms of product quality to pass of as the real thing just so they can make a quick dollar! It is disgraceful and randomly I'll go though posh and report sellers who are undoubtedly selling a fake palette! What blows my mind is when they say they are unsure if they are authentic and I'll kindly point out that they are selling a fake and they block me!
Sep 11Reply

jessbrew98
@dianabarr1 and it is disgraceful but there are still some great sellers on here that you can get an authentic one from and sometimes at a great price..?? My pro 2( the real one) came from a wonderful lady on here who have it to me at a steal, after countless hours of research of course lol so it can be done, you just have to do your homework and that is sad!
Sep 11Reply

jessbrew98
@j42213 on back the PRO and the 2 are in bold print and on the fakes the qr code wont scan, well it'll take you to a website that's no longer valid is what mine did and if it were real it would take you to loracs website or you tube for tutorials! Right off these are the things i can think of
Oct 21Reply

jessbrew98
@j42213 i just realized you said yours takes you to a website that's not valid... If it were the real it would take you to Carol shaw doing tutorials on the looks you can create.. The only ones I've seen with the qr code are from ulta and sephora..I really hope this helps you. But on my fake one the pigmentation was descent and it wasn't until i got an actual one that i realized the BIG difference... It's just not knowing what kind of chemicals you are putting on your eyes so be careful!
Oct 21Reply

jessbrew98
@j42213 sorry I've been taking a break from posh so im just seeing this but you'll have to download a qr scanner to scan the tutorials thing... I'll tell you what I'll get back to you by this evening on this but i was personally with my sister in law when she bought hers from ulta and it has the scan for tutorials thing on hers so I'll ask her what hers does when she scans it and let you know so maybe you'll feel a little better either way just knowing for sure
Oct 26Reply

jessbrew98
@jwilson812 no problem and yes the mega pro 1 is old but have you seen the mega pro 2?? It's pretty AWESOME and its only $59 i think but it's like putting two of their regular pallets together to get this perfect combination of warm and cool tones and matte and shimmer shimmer... It's so freaking pretty imo... But my sister in law is on a photo shoot and is going to let me know when she gets home so I'll be sure to let you know

This is s great posting !
This happened to my friend @jaydenj123 she bought from someone on Posh Mark who said its authentic & got ripped off because the returnable address is non deliverable (it's to a hotel)
Ya know a big kicker is when these posh accounts have multiple palettes of all the ones that are available on aliexpress !
Love your post

Lol @lyndimcghee girllll yassss! Lol I just posted on the same subject! Such a shame that there's so many scammers on here. What's even worse is how overseas company's are allowed to make all these fakes using the brand names! Isn't that copyright infringement or something? It can't be legal how they're duplicating these brands palettes.

We need to try to go BIGGER with these other accounts @jaydenj123 🙋🏻✔️💯

jessbrew98
@lyndimcghee thanks! I'm i agree that's it's so messed up that someone will say something is 100% authentic and they know 100% it is not! It's ridiculous and you would think a huge site like this would DEFINITELY protect you from that stuff whether it's $5.00 or $500 but i learned the hard way and that's why i put this up.. If it helps 1 person then I'm a happy girl lol

YASSS @jessbrew98 this happened to my girl @jaydenj123 same as you & it's sad that Posh Mark supports these FAKE products (accounts) and like my friend @jaydenj123 says these girls probably have multiple accounts because these fake palettes from Lorac too faced katvond all the nakeds and some Mac are sold in bundles !!!
LOVE YOUR POST GIRL YOU GOT ME & @jaydenj123 SUPPORTING THIS ONE 🤗✔️💯

Hi. I see that you posted this a while ago but u wonder if you could help me. I bought a lorac pro 2 and 3 palettes off here and am i bot sure if they are authentic. They look good to me but one thing that makes me wonder is the QR code. Neither has the code on the back of the actual palette and the lorac pro 2 has it on the box outside and when i try to scan it it says that it is not available.
