lolowatson Hi,I received your message. So I'll give you some ideas that I would do. I'm assuming you don't like the look of jeans with a large hole or tear at the knee. As far as blending you can add distressing around the hole in the knee but it won't make the hole smaller, obviously. Lol. The way I distress is with a razor or knife and rub across the denim to remove the denim part off the top and it leaves the white threads underneath.

lolowatson You could do that and then also attach a iron on patch on the inside of the jeans under the big hole. I like ones in a print or with lace or you can sew a piece of fabric or lace inside the hole. You could use a clear thread or large colored yarn looks cool and kinda boho with a floral fabric. Does any of this make sense? Lol

poshstylesbyme @lolowatson yes all of those sound great! So they make iron on patches? I can sew but wasn't quite sure on jeans because they are thick. I don't mind rips, I love the boho look it's just on these it's a good size triangular rip. Would you suggest cutting off the part that is flapped over? I'm assuming yes and then go from there 😀

lolowatson Yes you want the rip to look like it is wear not a cut or snag. I'd cut off the denim that's attached and then take a knife or razor and rub the edges of the rip or cut it kind of square. Wash and dry the jeans to get the Distressed look. The more you wash and dry them the better they'll look.

lolowatson Yes they make lots of iron on patches. Some go on the inside under the hole and some go on the outside of the jeans. It'd look cool to get a basic denim iron on patch that goes on inside of jeans and sew a piece of lace to it before you iron it on. Warning: I've never done this but I think it would work. Lol. Have fun!!!
