The cover has pink and white strips covered in clear sequin to give it shine when the light hits. Has a hook so the bag can be hung. Perfect for travel...you can detach the smaller makeup bags to take to work or school. I never traveled with this bag...I only stored makeup in it at home. In very good condition. Has very minor makeup stains that can easily be cleaned off.
