I know how the sizing can be but These Gianvito Rossi heels I purchased are actually a 39 but fit an 8.5 perfectly or as I mentioned 8 if you can tolerate some room.. hope this helps, maybe the open toe helps more with sizing but they run small since a 38 would be a true 8 or 7.5
