@kookc Santa Cruz is a wonderful place. I've only driven past Hotel Paradox. The Dream Inn looks great, also a lovely B&B called the Darling House (historical home looking over the ocean). My fiancรฉ and I love to visit Pacific Avenue (downtown) for shopping and people watching, and drive along West Cliff Avenue for breathtaking ocean views and lots of surfers.

@kookc There are two nice points to stop: Lighthouse Field and Natural Bridges. Oh and the Boardwalk is exciting esp during the warmer seasons. Two fun restaurants are Maharaja for Indian food and Santa Cruz Diner which has entertaining decor and incredible pancakes xo

@kookc Excellent (: Another tip, if you drive north on Hwy 9, it's gorgeous through the Santa Cruz Mountains. Henry Cowell State Park is close and a bit further is Big Basin Redwoods State Park which is amazing. Wish you a Happy Anniversary!

@candymuse thanks for asking about mom. She had a very bad case of Septicimia where here monthlong UTI Bacteria from the infection got in her blood & the hospital missed the high white blood cell count and sent her home from ER twice. Thank God her doc caught it as she was literally dying. My dad is distraught.

@candymuse Then the doctor also diagnosed her with dementia & beginning of Alzheimer's. It's been a very difficult month! She likes to hear about Posh, so it helps me keep going even though the chronic pain is high, I have many Blessings!

@mbuebest For the just in notice, post your listing and keep it for sale with a high price (I know 1 million works, though maybe up to $9,999,999?). Lower by 10% to have notification sent to your likers. You can test this by liking the listing yourself first and drop the price. You need to have notification of price drops on in your settings. I have $8K - $10K inventory of jewelry, totes, scarves & sunglasses cuz I was opening an offline boutique before I was diagnosed with 2 incurable chronic pain diseases. This I got approval to open a second closet just for that. I just finished painting my Office/Design center (I design jewelry too- but that is phase 3).

@candymuse when HP shopping I have seen some wonderful new closets, but there were not compliant, so I wrote to the owner saying how lovely their closet was & how sad I was that I could not even "consider" ( no promises) any items in their closet because it wasn't posh compliant. If they were interested in becoming PC to tag me, otherwise have a lovely day, take no offense. Every one taylored to the situation.

hi Erin ๐ผ it's been about a week and a half though I think the app was updated last week to show the new categories. Some poshers were emailed. I heard through the grapevine and Posh had a little notice at the top of the News feed for awhile. Big change! xo

@candymuse thanks candy. It showed up on my iPad which I don't use very much and I thought...this is weird, and then I read the updated lists and it seemed legit. I have three men in my house and great clothes but am reluctant to go that route. Any thoughts? I feel like I'm being punked a bit. Lol

@ebspear I'm sticking with women's items though I think this new categorization is here to stay so if you've got the items to list it'll probably work out. Just need to manage how you'll present them in your closet. Also looks like Posh maybe adding more parties: today at 4pm pst is a party for kids items. Anyways I've seen a lot of closets selling men's and kids items before this update so they thought its prob the best way to deal w the issue. Good luck xo

@ebspear Some users request to open a second closet to keep their gently used vs new retail, now men's/kids items separate (For myself, one closet is plenty to manage!) So if you have many men's items to list, this of course is also an option.

I had to like your "meet the posher" listing...when i reached santa cruz - quiet and pieceful in the redwoods...
Every time when i lay on the beach at seascape i think exactly the same๐๐
Can't live without the ocean...i miss it so much!!!
But no choice if the loveone has to be in central valley for his company๐
I take every chance to sneak out and visit my lovely piece on earth...between the dunes and the ocean๐
